Found this ESPN poker table with LED lights on marketplace and was wondering if anyone had any reviews or thoughts on this thing. I saw on reddit that it seems to be a reskinned Barrington, but not familiar with Barringtons either. I'm basically considering picking this up for like $100 or waiting until a Triton or something nicer becomes available.

The question is would this be an upgrade from what you’re playing on now…

A $100? Can you go wrong?

These are very nice for the price. Add a topper from @rjdev7. Also search the forum for “Barrington” tables bc that’s what they are commonly referred to.

Yes, he has a Google album with the designs. I think I have a generic one from Amazon you can have for the cost of shipping. PM me if you end up getting the table and want it.

Appreciate that a lot! I'll let you know. Is it pretty customary/recommended to get a topper for tables like this (or the Triton table)? Is the default felt that comes with it not very good?

I have the barrington table that mimics this exact one, foldable 10 person 84x42. It works well for the prices that's for sure. It fits 8 comfortably, 9 works, but 10 gets fairly cramped in my experience. if you can get this for $100 and get away from using a topper, I'd 100% recommend doing that. Its still a starter table mind you, but quite the upgrade from using a topper.

Toppers cover the seam where the table folds, and to me they feel and perform better than the default surface. Aesthetics are the most obvious upgrade imo.

Just to confirm you're talking about getting away from using a topper on a regular table, not using a topper on the barrington?

Correct, a topper by itself just over a normal table. I'm not saying you can't lay a topper inside this one, but the rail isn't very deep to begin with. Also, I reread your original post again, and if you are possibly looking at getting a triton table at some point, maybe your best bet is to just keep using the topper until you come across the table you are looking for. I am assuming you are looking to buy one used, and at what price point exactly? I personally haven't seen or used a triton in person, but they do look nice that's for sure.

I’m also in the market for an LED barrington size topper, if anyone has extras they’re looking to get rid of send me a dm 🙏

Yup that's right. I'm in no rush for a used Triton that's why I thought maybe this LED Barrington could hold me over until then. Honestly I'm not sure what the market is for used Tritons but I'm pretty flexible on the price point.

Does @rjdev7's have a catalogue or thread that kind of lays out the topper options?
Here’s the thread (1st post has a link to all of the available options, their cost, and timeline for ordering & receiving):

One of my poker groups uses this type of ESPN Barrington table: I bought one of @rjdev7 ‘s Rounders toppers made to fit over the felt and it’s helped with dealing cards during games.
