The 2026 WSOP kicks off today with the Mini Mystery Flight A event 1.

I am always looking for better quality pictures of any known chips and any new chips we have not seen in previous years

Current Chip Guides:

WSOP Chip Usage - 2022 Paris/Bally's Primary Paulsons
WSOP Chip Usage - 2022 Paris/Bally's Secondary Paulsons
WSOP Chip Usage - 2022 Paris/Bally's Tertiary Paulsons
WSOP Chip Usage - 2022 Paris/Bally's Paulsons - Side Events
WSOP Chip Usage - Main Event

Streaming:

WSOP Youtube channel
WSOP TWITCH Channel
2026 WSOP Streaming Information

The Main Event will be exclusive to ESPN but the WSOP will be streaming several events and final tables on various platforms. Expect the streaming to be heavily NLHE based, but some of the announcers have hinted at Non-NLHE streaming as well.

Resources:

Note: Apparently WSOP.com destroyed their website in favor of being app only and it is unusable for any historical research now. Complete bummer. You will need to use Pokernews now for any updates.

Also PSA: PokerGo has lost all rights to the WSOP and have removed all past streams/episodes/content today. Do not purchase a PokerGO subscription assuming you can watch anything WSOP related.

As of right now it doesn't look like there is any legal way to watch old WSOP content but we can assume GGpoker/WSOP is planning on launching their own service in the future.

Thanks for the notice: so it looks like the main source for this year’s non-main event content will be the official WSOP YouTube channel?

That would be the safe assumption. They are being purposefully vague on how it is going to work presumably to allow themselves some flexibility that PokerGo famously fumbled over the past few years. I am not sure if they plan to co-stream events on different platforms for extra accessibility or if potentially the Youtube channel will be their primary stream and Twitch, X, and Facebook will be secondary extra streams for smaller events. We'll start finding things out when coverage begins 5/29.

They have the Event 7 25K NLHE Heads-Up Day 1A scheduled on their Youtube page but Jeff Platt confirmed they plan to show the Event 2 5K NLHE final table on the same day in some capacity.

It also looks like everything is going to stream on delay starting around 7-8 PM PDT local time (10-11 PM EDT) so for us American East Coasters with jobs watching things live is going to be very difficult.

Thanks for the update on the 25K NL Heads Up and the 5K NL being on the same day--I'm hoping for minimal glitches and hopefully not having to pay like last year with PokerGo

So no new chips with GG branding obviously confirmed. I was skeptically, hoping.

Completely confirmed through early pictures of events 1 and 2.

Event #2 5K NLHE 8-Handed color up.

I think I said a while back here during the announcement that I assume they will be granted a loophole allowance to use the chips because they belong to the WSOP and not the casino and the events are still being held on Caesers owned properties. They are still technically accurate in a way and we can assume there is a lot less scrutiny on tournament chips vs. cash chips.

Totally understand why they are still being used. Just hoped GG would want the branding / marketing aspect of it.

Jeff Platt just said that there will be some kind of streaming coverage for basically every event this year.

The only thing that should be behind a paywall is Main Event live coverage before the final table. That will be airing on the ESPN APP.

The live final table will be airing on ESPN over three days and they will later cut all of the Main Event coverage into edited episodes like they used to do back in the 2000s and air them on ESPN as well.

That's good news compared to paying for a month or two of PokerGo last year

I'm also assuming that the Main Event in the ESPN app means having ESPN Unlimited--which unfortunately isn't part of my YouTube TV subscription until later this year

El Hefe and Brent Hanks are crying in their Perrier! I’m crying in my G&T! Dang.

golden jewelry is the secret sauce of WSOP. If I ever won one I’d wear it like my wedding ring, which is to say whenever I leave the house. Except at the beach.

I don't really attend meetups, but if I won a bracelet I would start going to every single one just to start shoving my bracelet in everyone's face.

90 year old Perry Green just made the final table in the Event 4 1.5K Omaha Hi-Lo tournament.

Perry is an Alaskan poker legend and three time bracelet winner. His last bracelet? a 1.5K NLHE event in 1979.

He sits 4th of 8 in chips heading to the final table re-draw and looks to end a nearly 50 year bracelet drought. A win for the 90 year old legend would be one of the greatest stories in WSOP history.

Maybe a dumb question, but are all the $25k heads up matches live on YouTube?
