[1 LEFT TO PAY/CARDS ASSIGNED] 2026 WSOP ME Last Hand Jackpot ($20 entry) (2 Viewers)

By the way, if you have ever wondered if we are the biggest bunch of nerds on the planet, the last couple pages of this thread should remove all doubt.
Nerdism has a multiplicative effect. Say the normal non-nerd person has a nerd quotient of 1.0. And in a group of say, three, the nerdism quotient is still 1.0 (1.0*1.0*1.0). However, in a group of say only 10% nerd above average (nerd quotient 1.1), it can be get very nerdy very quickly. A group of just three 1.10 quotient nerds can result in a group average nerd quotient of more than 1.33 (1.1*1.1*1.1). Each individual person in that group is now over 30% nerdier than the average person. Naturally, this forum is a showcase in the exponential effects of this phenomenon.

Using @foreverdev's numbers substantiates my hypothesis.

my theory is that low and middle cards are more likely to hit the board, because the players are more likely to hold better cards in their hand.

2-6: 13+11+9+8+7+7+7+6+6+5+5+5+5+5+4+4+4+4+3+3 = 121 for 20 cards = 6.05 times per card (45.5%)
7-T: 9+8+8+7+6+6+6+6+5+5+4+4+3+3+3+2 = 85 for 16 cards = 5.3125 times per card (32.0%)
J-A: 9+8+6+6+4+4+3+3+3+3+3+2+2+2+1+1 = 60 times for 16 cards = 3.75 times per card (22.6%)

Your honor, the prosecution rests.

Damn, I missed out on a fun thread. This was a great idea, @WedgeRock
Should I open the Last Longer bet now?

I'm waiting for the structure sheet of the 2026 Main Event to be released, but essentially, after Day 5 or 6, I'll randomly assign the top 27 stacks left in the WSOP to PCFers. Top 5 get paid? NOT OPEN YET. DON'T START POSTING ENTRIES. THERE WILL BE A SEPARATE THREAD.

Yes, undoubtedly . I stopped myself from going even further with the stats but 2-5 is far over represented.

Not sure I'm that big of a prop bet degenerate... but maybe? lol

Does anyone want to buy my spot for $40? I realize I’m likely giving up $460 in EV, but I need to rebuild my bankroll after an unfortunate river. I mean an unfortunate river bluff.
