Well done man! I'm bummed I didn't get any time with you or these at the table!

If you have a custom CPC/ASM set do you always look back and think you would change a little thing here or there. Though I am happy with my custom sets, there are definitely things I would do differently.

In thinking about CPC starting back up some time this mellinia, I thought I would take a closer look at the set I submitted to Dave before the sale took place. I found that I really hated my spot selection for this tournament set. Completely reworked it originally 5 different ways. I took out some denoms I had originally planned and ended up with this last night. Hopefully things get to cookin' there on the West Coast and I can bring one of J5's final designs to life. Fingers crossed!!!

Lastly, Van Hagar sucked but I digress.

EDIT TO ADD: I sold my color samples so if anyone would be able to post a picture of Mandarin Red, Dayglo Peach and Dayglo Arc Yellow together i would appreciate you.

So much better! And love the uniform spot for tournament set.

But yes, always relitigating my previous decisions on my two CPC sets and wishing I had made little tweaks

Plumbing work with contractors was still in process/going longer than expected last time I chatted with Mike, but timeline was looking like this next week or two before fully operational and producing.

Always gets harder at the 5-yard line.. let’s hope plane is landed soon.

Contractors are a pain in the butt, for sure.

But the real pieces of work are the inspectors.... No craps given for time. And a very greased palm position.

Having built out several offices that have very specific plumbing and electrical requirements, I know the PAIN of planned openings versus real. My office in Florida was supposed to open in September, but we didn't get to open until January.

You only re-worked your design 5 times?

It's gonna be epic, looking forward to it!

Always? No, but occasionally? Yes. I would have swapped my .25 and $1. The current $1 is my favorite chip and I thought it should be the .25 given the usual stakes we play, but I wanted to future proof my set, and I figured inflation and the game would rise. Thats sorta happened but it wasn’t my primal vision.

Love this edge spot pattern and chips look good. #1 and #5 are particularly great.

The delay was an unexpected boon for you.

Just hope the new ownership is really great at running a factor because community management is rough. Even an occasional, "Still waiting an a damned inspector," or a, "Contractor made a mistake and slowed things down," would go a long way. Like at minimum a monthly progress report would be cool.

If anything this tells us PCF amounts to AT MOST 10-15% of CPC revenue…
Or Mike thinks maintaining a happy customer base isn’t very important. You suggest there’s a rational fact behind his behavior instead of potentially a strategic short coming. Have we seen evidence to assume the former?

I would bet its just a small business owner not fully understanding the value of his repeat regulars. This likely manifests by not monitoring his own page on the forum. Not a great start.

Seriously, a monthly news letter (or just post) would clear this up.

Shit. @CPC_Mike, just tell @Classic_Giraffe to come here and post once per week. He can even bitch about permits and that would satasfy 80% of this.

I really am thinking I'll save up for a CPC set, but now I don't know for sure if that will even be an option. You might need to figure out yellow and triangles to keep people around...
