Custom CPC Set - Choosing a 5k Chip (3 Viewers)

I have a CPC set that I’ve been working on every so often (mostly for fun since it’ll probably be years until I actually order them) and I’ve reached a point I’m pretty happy with. However, I do still have one dilemma to resolve. I’m not sure whether the light blue or DG Peacock looks better on the 5k. Any ideas? Thanks!


Edit: Made it so that the order of the images matches the option choices (first of each pair is light blue, second is DG peacock)

DG Peacock by far,

Rebuy chip and T500 are very close. DG Tiger base in rebuy or DG pink spots would help in rebuy

Sounds good. I did have another design for the rebuy chip with a DG Tiger base actually. I’ll play around with DG Pink as well.

I would go DG tiger with dark spots, DG Tiger and DG Pink are similar hues in some lighting so DG tiger would benefit from dark blue spots for example.

Or keeping it retro blue and use bright pink spot with maybe white and red ?

Got it. I meant to say I’d experiment with DG Pink on the Retro Blue to see if that helps. Good to know though that DG Tiger works well with dark spots, I never really thought to try that.

Looks like DG Pink did the trick! Would the DG Yellow spot still cause issues with the 500?

It is much better, do you have a color sample kit?

as a rebuy chip the pink spot saves it but if it was another chip that would be in play and quantity on the table then I would get rid of the yellow.

I don’t at the moment. I was hoping to get one once CPC reopens orders for samples.

I have a color set I can sell but shipping might be expensive if you want it in a hurry. Otherwise I would look at the chip DB some colors really don’t look the same in real life

I was just thinking the same thing actually. I found an image of a color sample and came up with some alternate choices depending on how the colors look. I’ll probably still look for a color sample to get, though. I got the visual from Chipmatic Studio by eyedropping colors from the image of the sample.

I have a color set I can sell but shipping might be expensive if you want it in a hurry.
