Where I live, the nearest casino is four hours away so poker is either bar poker or private games. The old ESPN replays of the WSOP inspired me to play. I spent most of my work life as a radio broadcaster and learned about World Tavern Poker when I made a commercial for a host restaurant. Since retiring, poker is my hobby with mostly private games. And at 71, I am still learning.

I haven't played World Tavern Poker in a while and revenues keep changing. Their website is good at keeping up with it. Games play loose but fun. Players limp a lot and rarely 3-bet. It's a good learning experience.
