Giveaway 2026 PCF March DB Madness High Card Tournament (3 Viewers)

The last matchup in the Elite 8 was in the Midwest Region. #5 @dizzyChipper took on #10 @PokerDogDoc who dominates with a Jack to the 5 of Dizzy. @PokerDogDoc will move onto the Final Four while @dizzyChipper will battle it out for Prizes 5 to 8.

After I lost, I was the curse of my half of the Midwest region. @GGHank eliminated me, then was eliminated the next game by @Jackstraw, who would be eliminated in the next game by @dizzyChipper, who would then be eliminated in the next game by @PokerDogDoc.

If the curse continues, @paul sydney will eliminate @PokerDogDoc in the next game, but then the winner of @legend672 and @Rex will eliminate @paul sydney for the championship.

Get you Kalshi predictions in now. This is science!

Btw - I’m protesting my loss in the elite 8 round with the PCFAA board. @Nuhockey, the refs missed a critical foul call on my cards at the flip that would have sent me to the free throw line giving me two additional cards and a significant chance to win or at least sen it into double ot!

How rude!

Your protest has been reviewed and your protest was unsuccessful. Also as a result of an unsuccessful protest the board has decided to issue @Flopalopagus a financial penalty which it TBD as well as the loss of 2 draft picks in the summer draft. This is clearly written in the league bylaws in section 6 article 7 line 9.

Thank goodness for this giveaway … it’s the only thing keeping me interested in bracketology right now as my “real” bracket is busted beyond recognition. Many thanks @Nuhockey !

My Bracket was blown up a few rounds ago. I have Michigan winning, but my other Final four teams were St. John’s, Houston, and Gonzaga. Did have UCONN making the Elite 8.

My "official" bracket has Arizona winning it all.
My 2 "scorched earth" brackets have Michigan and UConn winning it all.
Soooo ... I'd like to congratulate the Fighting Illini of the University of Illinois on their impending men's basketball championship.

They win, I win the pool here

Hi everyone Final Four Day is here and the Epic battles have happened. In the first Match #16 @Rex the darling of the tournament who represents all small schools in the tournament had the task of taking on the Power Schools like #4 @legend672 . He tried hard with a 10, but couldn't hold on as @legend672 dominates with a King. @legend672 will move onto to the National Championship. Then in the next match #8 @paul sydney took on #10 @PokerDogDoc . Paul pulled out his knife and could only muster a 4 while the Doc laughed and said "That's not a Knife! This is a Knife!" and pulled out an Ace to advance to the National Championship.

Congrats to @PokerDogDoc and @legend672 for making the National Championship. Good luck to both teams on Monday. @paul sydney and @Rex will battle it to see who gets prize #3 and prize #4.

So, behind the curtain question, how do you do the random draws? Do you let a RNG do the heavy lifting and you just record it in Excel? Or do you sit down with a physical deck of cards? If you actually use cards, are you shuffling/washing between every draw (that's gotta be alot for the round of 64) or do you draw as many games as you can with one shuffle/wash?

Which audit firm do you use to confirm the results? Deloitte & Touche? Price Waterhouse? Ernst & Young? KPMG?

So right now I use physical decks. When I originally started this thing during the pandemic I used two physical decks. My pattern was a thorough wash before the tournament begins. Then as the tournament starts a quick wash between each battle then 5-6 shuffles then one random cut. The higher seed always gets the first card and the lower seed the second card. I was using an app card called Card Draw for 2 years, but then all of sudden the app didn't work properly on the Iphone so I stopped using it before last years tournament when I couldn't get it to work right. Then I couldn't find a card draw app I liked online or for the phone so back to Physical cards it went last year. Yes when there are a lot of games in the beginning it is a Pain.

As for the Auditors I did work for Ernst & Young for 23 years so they are my first Choice of Auditors. PWC I had worked with PWC IT Auditors in my last job and I felt they did good work and I would use them if I needed. Deloitte and KPMG would be my last choices.

Hello everyone. I will post the results of the DB Madness National Championship after the NCAA Championship game tonight. The game was just played. All I have to say Holy F#$%ING S#IT the DB Madness National Championship game was a barn burner and was a game I never would of imagined in a million years. I just wanted to add a little suspense to the outcome and keep @legend672 and @PokerDogDoc guessing for a little while longer as to who won.
