The Current State of Chipping (3 Viewers)

You can do whatever you want. No one cares.
God you are like an edgy goth nihilistic 19 year old.

You are our slowest online player and that is very much saying something.
Anyway!!!!!

I’ve been chipping for almost 7 years. And the landscape has definitely changed. I’m not nearly as interested anymore. Just glad I made some very awesome friends.

…and I met you too @MrCatPants

You've slept in my house; we are borderline common law married in TX.

If a grail chip gets murdered, is it still grail? I'd say no.

Also, the current state of chipping is that it sucks. There y'all go. Go buy some more fcking bank bags five at a time for your one-table game.

Edit - @Darson KHN bank bags for life :cool
Wait. I just bought 5 bank bags..

Define “current”:
1. This man won the HoF for City of Dawn in January
2. Finished and published YEARS long PCF trench warfare barrel by barrel to finish Claim Stake in January
3. Unveils ultra secret custom CPC Nuttall & Mann’s Saloon whilst Pippa is having a heart attack that CPC is shut down in what is clearly a shoe-in for future HoF contention.
4. Oh and also gets to play with the Rancho Agave amazeballs set that was released in August (hot take, $1s are better than the $5s).

So either you have the attention span of a Kifer Potato, or you’ve ran out of oxygen at the top of the mountain buddy and are the living example of PCF hedonic adaptation.

Also, I can send you a Tiger Cash bag for being a good sport about being a blind douche. Just 1 though for that single table.

Chipping is like the California real estate market. A bunch of people living in houses they can longer afford to buy. If you didn’t buy a house years ago, your only shot at home ownership is inheritance.
The first house we bought was $36,000 and we made about $12,000 a year. It wasn’t an easy purchase at that stage though our lives, Liz was just graduating high school, lol.

Chipping in as the same. Start with China clays, a bit of ceramic, move to better China clays, diverge into obscure cheaper clay molds, start to accumulate bike tire Paulsons, finish bike tire sets, start trading/buying nicer racks of Paulson here and there, score a small CPC set, score a bigger CPC set, sell off all China clays, score a few sets of nice Paulsons, accumulate a lot of CPC sets and eventually a lot of EVERYTHING.

We aren’t all WW and just splash in with all the money in the world. Most of us have built up to where we are over a decade or so.

Same with houses. Most of us are where we are not because we could afford a McMansion at 20, but because we gradually stepped up/worked up to where we are now Literally decades.

I'm going to sound like a zoomer to most of you boomers but it's just not possible for most to buy a house, flat out. Hard to work your way up when you can't get started.

And paying for a house that is 3x your income when nowadays down payments are 2x the medium income...everybody has to be a dual income household and they still can't afford most homes...

Why am I wasting my time here, I just need to pick up my bootstraps and get started ;)

This Is Fine GIF

(p.s. not saying it's wrong the advice you've given, just unrealistic in the current world. And yes, this is coming from someone who can't afford a home :D)

Wrong. Just pull yourself up by your bootstraps.

You don’t make 1/3 of house prices annually?

Obviously you aren’t working hard enough. It’s not *that* hard to make $200k. Just go get a degree and 5 jobs.

Kids these days.

Want to buy a home, move to the Midwest, they are still affordable. We don’t have horrible hours long traffic jams every day either. From the suburbs to an event in the city is a 30 minutes drive at most.
Cons: you have to live in the midwest. Hope you like highline chili, scrapple, sandwiches with wet bread, and Bob Evans.
