I am planning on getting my first set of Paulson's. I know any set is not cheap but i am curious about what sets are "cheapest" and most available. I like the J.A.C.K chips and they dont seem as expensive as some other casino chips I've seen. Is there any particular chips that are considered the "starter" chips when it comes to Paulson's. I am mainly talking about getting a CASH set.

Reverse Hat and Cane chips are among the more affordable chips, or RHC as noted in the marketplace descriptions. Lower denominations that aren’t fractionals are what you’ll see in that type.if it doesn’t tilt your ocd roulette molds are usually the least expensive. Solids are cheaper that spotted in most instances.

In addition to this, generally the more used the chips are the cheaper they’ll be.

Something like a Majestic Star set would be (relatively) cheap since the average condition is very used.

Whichever direction you decide go, make sure to get a sample to see how you feel about the condition before making a big purchase. Very used RHC feel very different from mint/crisp RHC, which both feel different than THC, etc.

The Ohio Horseshoe (Cleveland & Cincinnati) cash chips are among the most affordable and still in decent shape for casino used chips. They weren’t on the floor for a long time before being rebranded to JACK.

@behrguitar has a used Majestic 500pc set for sale at under a buck a chip. Hard to find anything Paulson in that range. Add a rack of fracs if you need to and that's a solid first Paulson set.

HSI secondary are your best bang for your buck but realistically considered premium prices. North of $3+ chip for the $5s and up.

If youre remotely even close to considering $600 a rack, get tigers. Better to pay $600/rack for the good stuff tham $300/rack for mediocre stuff.

Lol you guys are ridiculous. New members who use the word “cheap” let alone “cheapest” don’t want anything more than $1/chip. $600 is more than their entire bankroll.

Next the usual suspects will post they should save up for a custom CPC set instead  :ROFLMAO:

Yeah I really just want to get my first real set, at some point it would be dope to get something crazy but I have to start with a more entry level set.

Buy the 500 piece cleaned majestic star set. It’s cleaned, well used Paulsons for under $1/chip. You can resell it here at that price and have it sold, maybe taking a haircut of $50 if you want to move it quick.

lots of time to learn and salivate over nicer sets once you’ve got it in hand and then you’ll be better able to tell the difference

I just bought these from Dallas. Was going to relabel them but decided to relabel one of my other sets again. They are used, but they feel great. And since they’ve already been re-labeled, you can get your own labels and customize them. If you’re interested in that, I can sell it for the same price I got it. $1500.
