GG Bahamas WSOP Poker Chips…A Glimpse Into Next Year? (1 Viewer)

I have no knowledge but it’s my best guess next year the WSOP may unveil new chips bc I believe it’s the first year GG owns the WSOP rights for Las Vegas (is that correct?).

If that’s so, I sure hope they don’t go with a ceramic chip like they did for the WSOP in Bahamas or how the WPT and Wynn did for their championship events…

My guess is we won't see these at WSOP Vegas. I believe the gaming commission say location has to be on the chip, even for NCV tournament chips (though I could be wrong).

re. GG, I'm also pretty sure this year (2025) was the first under the GG ownership.

There was zero GG branding anywhere this year. Still all poker go studio and Caesers. No way this year GG had any oversight.

The chip can still say GG and location tho (and be a new chip)?

How can you spend $500M on the event and not brand your logo on the chip…

not surprised that they did ceramic for Bahamas. I've done chips for this location before and it's not out of the norm for tournaments there. I DO NOT believe for a second this will translate in Vegas

I hope so but Wynn ordered two ceramic sets for WPT.

also believable for wpt events... i'm holding on to hope that wsop won't break tradition.

I don't see why not. Unless there's something in the NGC rules, but we see branding for restaurants, shows etc. on chips so it's totally possible.

Because as we all know, almost nobody cares about the chips.


I truly hope we don't see what they deployed for the Bahamas, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get something different. Just, pretty please, not ICONs.
