Nanuk 910 = 400 chip perfection (2 Viewers)

Just wanted to share my Nanuk 910 chip case. This thread was a huge inspiration towards getting what I believe is the best chip storage option for a T5 tournament set.

Literally has the perfect amount of storage for 340 chips (100x$5, 100x$25, 70x$100, 50x$500, 20x$1000), two decks of cards, big and small blind buttons, dealer button, and card protector token.

Thank you all for the discussion and examples shared in this thread. It was very valuable for somebody who just started getting nicer chips (I've had dice chips all my life until just recently).

Wow these cases came next day delivery. Testing them with 8 racks. Using the small layer of foam on the bottom and placing it in the lid only, makes for a really tight fit but it closes. Should I be concerned about the chips being directly up against this foam? What should I use in the lid?

I’ve not plucked the foam yet. Just testing the height

In inspiration of all the cool examples here, I got myself a Nanuk 910 and converted it for a T20k 6-8 handed case. It fits 340 chips, a deck as well as a dealer button. Overall I am very happy and somehow is also something special besides the standard poker cases. Thanks for the great tips and keep up the good work in this community

Hello, where did you get these racks from, they fit perfectly?

With foam plucked and trimmed plus racks inserted. Ready to roll.

P.S. Nearly all standard size racks will work in this case - from genuine Paulson to cheap Amazon or Brybelly.

Love this case.

Pretty versatile. Love how compact it is

If doing a 1200 chip set ( in 2 weeks). I'll go with 600 in each case

If a small 800 set is needed. Can do 1 case with 800
It’s a little more snug and you have to push down with a little more pressure to close the case. But seems to be ok and @CraigT78 hasnt had any trouble traveling with 800 chips this way.

I use Justin racks and I leave the factory foam in the lid. I've stored chips this way for over a year. The tight fit has caused no damage to the chips, case, or racks.

So, with vertical racks for max packing, it's essentially 6 x 39 mm racks and nothing else or 5 racks with stuff (card sets, dealer button etc) ?

Vertical you can do 7 racks easily. ( 39mm Justin racks)

I split into 600 per case

Do you feel that you need a covered rack or foam in between the layers to stack them horizontal rather than vertical? I'm trying to figure out how to store 500-600 chips in this case and if I can use an open rack or need to get covered racks. I'm planning on getting ceramic chips. So far, two layers of horizontally stacked racks seems the easiest over vertical stacks w/ covered racks.

Not sure how regular Paulson racks will stack. I can investigate.

Currently using Justin racks. They work great
