EDITED TO ADD OTHER PCF-ERS' SUGGESTIONS - NOV 18 2025 (will update as needed)
Wondering which NLHE vloggers you all watch for the purposes of learning the game / hand analysis / strategy at the low stakes (ideally $2-$3 or $1-$2). This isn't about "entertainment" really. It's about clear commentary and logic to improve my own play. Also, looking for the "we are sitting with the vlogger" style as opposed to live streams where you can see the opponents' holdings. (Yes, I've seen older threads on this topic, but there's a lot of change as the vloggers move up in stakes or become live streamers etc.)
Some folks I watch already or have seen and think are good (all on YouTube):
Other suggestions plus any commentary *if* I know them:
Other folks I've checked out are low on the "teaching/learning" part, or their presentation is so bad it's too hard to follow. I've already read and reread a ton of highly recommended books as well so vloggers are my next step in learning.
Thanks for any thoughts you all have!

Some folks I watch already or have seen and think are good (all on YouTube):
- NorCal Poker
- Doug McCusker
- The very old Mariano vids (he got way too big in terms of stakes after a year or so)
- Aero (hate his 90s style sex/penis/lesbian/race jokes... and he's extremely egotistical. Usually plays $2-$5 which is a bit too big for my goals ATM. But he is very good)
- Babbo for when he plays lower stakes (but he doesn't put out much and seems to have fallen off)
- Jonathan Little (a teacher, not as much of live hands being played. Very good material. He gets very annoyed with dumb questions/users who ask him questions [these are prerecorded live streams very often] but it's worth it. Also, he has content for lower stakes and higher stakes, live and online, tournaments and cash games, so make sure you find exactly what area you're focused on before listening. He knows GTO but throws it largely out the window at the lower stakes in favor of adaptive play [my term for exploitative])
- Bart Hanson of Crush Live Poker (make sure you're listening to content applicable to your specific game, esp if you're lower stakes like I am ATM)
- James Sweeney AKA Split Suit AKA Red Chip Poker (he's somewhere between Jonathan Little and a live hand reviewer; good macro concept work for low stakes players, a little GTO in there)
Other suggestions plus any commentary *if* I know them:
- Blackrain79 (I don't feel like his stuff applies well to live poker, which is what I play. Just my 2 cents)
- Hungry Horse (live poker, often $2-$5, very aggressive. Saving this for if/when I'm more in those stakes, feels a bit premature at my current stakes)
- Brad Owens (when I saw a few of this vids, it looked like he went high stakes pretty fast, so I only checked out a few early ones)
- Live Poker Guide - Andreas Wagner
- Jason Bell (I saw a few vids and he seemed more like a normal player who recorded his hands, rather than a crusher teaching us the way to have a huge win rate... but maybe I didn't watch enough?)
