I’m curious, how many total cards were ordered and what was the final cost?

Somewhere in the 36 pages of this thread there is a link to the Google Sheets order summary. I still have it in my Google Drive so I can see it without finding the link. 5228 cut cards over 181 orders. At $1.50 per card that is $7842 in cut cards plus setup fees and re-shipping. Guessing this was around $10,000 transaction. I don’t know the vendor but would be surprised if they can get all of that done in 2 weeks. And would be very difficult to reshio within a week. Will be nice if we get these before Christmas.

I’ve been amazed what suno can generate musically. You can’t tell me there aren’t some professionals, maybe even top 100 groups, that aren’t using this (at least partially) to create music for their lyrics, then recording those songs themselves. I’m sure that’s happening.

Yeah, I was just having that conversation with my wife. They would be silly not to use it to iterate or for inspiration if anything. It's straight up scary how easy it is to create a banger in any genre on any subject.

In this same vein I’ve been seeing people use AI to turn random songs into different genres. Like this 50 Cent example. It’s pretty amazing when these ai tools are doing.

AI music will just be a rehash of what has been done before. Originality comes from human imagination, something AI cannot do because it relies on gathered mass amounts of historic data to make its decisions. Yes, a lot like humans, but what about Miles Davis, or other creative greats??

Yeah but so are 80% of the non AI songs that come out. Of course AI won’t be able to do the innovation that accounts for real great music. But it’s probably perfectly fine for filling in the mass produced corporate hits that that lack any creativity anyway….

Its gonna be a few weeks, but comparing a single order to this is pretty unfair.

I had mine in about 10 days

I’ve only done up to 6 designs and a couple hundred cards.

Each time for a rush order I was told 24-48 hours for design to reach out, then payment confirmation and production.

Each time I reached out, I had quote, payment, design, and in production by end of next day.

Way diff and easier for individual order. Had order number, receipt, etc. provided the entire way (they were referenced in all automated emails from them).

Haven’t ordered from them in a year, but last time pricebreaks started at 100/250/500.

In the future I’d gladly add my 100 cards to someone else’s individual order to reach pricebreaks.

(And perhaps most importantly, I had a designer from here do all the artwork(s). All I had to do was hand file from him to printers - already sized properly, no issues or revisions.)
