When CPC finally reopens.. looking to upgrade my favorite Tina set (see original Tina design thread: https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/musky-jacks.121246/)

Had to tweak some lures due to CPC color availability... but also leaning toward a light version of the set. Targeting toward scroll mold as well... seems like a pretty good "hook" theme.

Not 100% sure a couple of the chip colors yet, but a start.

Edit: V6 - Likely Final.

Yeah, fair point. I was mulling over the 1 vs 25 and 5 vs 100. Likely will separate some more or adjust spots some. Am slightly concerned there.

The 5 and 100 an fine. How many 100s actually hit the felt?

There is blue in it.

@Cratty the only tweak I would make is to the 25.
Yeah, I think even just going to retro green vs green would help separate some (see below). But will keep playing around with it.

@FestiveKnight And yeah, hear the comments on brighter/etc... I'm somewhat reserving some of the popping colors for higher denoms if I ever expand to do a Tourney set up to T25k.

The yellow spot is probably the biggest problem. It looks nice, but it is to close to the base 5 imo

My sunsets are on the fdl mold. I hope to get them into play at my meet up. I don't love the mold. It works great with what I wanted to do with my design.

Personally I don't like the feel of the scroll mold, can't say exactly why. Have you felt them before? Grab a rounders sample on it or something before committing to a full set.
Yeah, had a sample of it and actually liked it quite a bit, but agree different than some of the others. Will probably pick up a shuffle stack though to your point to confirm.

AND Pink is also a great $2,500 color if you need it for non family games!

I see you're pulling colors out of the lures and all but you're so close on the $1... Just go full Rasta:

Holy shit those 4-points look awesome! Hard to pick a favorite, but that NCV, $5, and $100 are excellent.

Also LOL at “wife approved” haha Half the battle!

Does it matter that the fish is spelled muskie? Maybe the misspelling is intentional and I probably didn’t read the whole thread. I love to fish so I’m down with the theme, and I’ve never caught a muskie.

Both are OK spellings, Musky is more widely used though. Might be regional (and singular vs plural).

4-points for the inlay shape

I'm not sure on my thoughts. I will have to think about this. The wife approval should weigh just a tough more than mine :)

I like the 4 points, but my eyes are drawn to them instead of the chip and/or the inlay.

Yeah, I'm now going back/forth on it. This morning's opinion differs even from my opinion last night. Fortunately I have plenty of time to sleep on it. ha

Circular for reference:

I have a few custom sets. I have been on several design teams. The best advice that I can give (you already know this) is to reflect on designs and not rush through them.

As pointed out. I love the color matching! Very well done!

Scroll is the best mold, good choice!

Any thoughts of 44mm scroll for the large denoms? Might be fun (or just a longer wait lol)

Edit: wrong chip size lol
