I am about to order a couple of custom tables from Swift Custom Poker Tables out of Tulsa OK. Found him on FB Marketplace. Images and talking to him seems super legit. Anyone familiar? here are couple pics he has posted. Looking for any feedback. Paying full upfront and makes me nervous LOL. I am a gambler though....

ive seen them all over facebook marketplace….couldnt tell if they were legit so I didnt click on anything...
I ordered a table on the 16th. I was told it was in stock. Over 2 weeks and nothing was shipped. Nicholas told me he would bring it to me last week as a worst case scenario. He never came. I ended up telling him I would come get it. I went saturday, drove 5 hours to get it. He did show up to give it to me. Everything was wrapped up and ready to go when I arrived. When we were just chatting about this, he let me know this was not the table I ordered but similar. He stated the table I ordered got double bought on the website and sent to someone else. They were similar, this table had an extra feature but larger legs that I didn't like. We noticed loading it up that the dealer tray was missing and it was just a hole under the plastic. He said he had no dealer trays in stock but ordered one and shipped it to me, this was done in front of me on his phone.
Once we got home we unwrapped everything. The legs were not painted as shown in the pictures. The bottom of the table has no trim to cover the staples from the arm rest.
Everything else about the table was fine. It feels durable, built nice and all the vinyl work seems good.

Last week, 3 days prior to me deciding to go get it myself. A video was posted on swift custom poker tables facebook page of several tables being built. The 9ft dealer table shown is the table I was given. The table I purchased was nearly the same table but smaller legs and chip slot for dealer tips/rake was not included. I'm betting he is selling these faster than he can make them and instead of telling people it will be 1-2 weeks, he's claiming they are in stock.

I can confirm he is a legit person and the location I went to is the same in the facebook videos.

A quick update.... I'm not the guy to scam. I don't let things go. If you scam me for $1500 I'm the type to spend $5k making sure you don't sleep at night. Obviously once i realized this deal went south I started researching and found the people here he didn't do right by, other customers via his google business page he screwed over on sign jobs etc. I had proof that this wasn't a singular business deal gone bad, this was fraud. I told him via text if I didn't have my money back by monday morning when I get home I would be going to the Tulsa police department to press charges for fraud. Still ghosts me! I found 2 addresses for him and sent a guy looking for him in Tulsa, both addresses were fake.

Any time I was just laying around doing nothing I went after this guy. I signed him up for get tested.org, national weather service updates for every state I could find, and he's probably been getting some calls from insurance agents over the quotes he asked for.

Then it happened.... I found where he had posted he was having a wach party for a boxing match next month and posted where he would be having it at! I instantly responded that I would be in attendance and posted in the comments asking if he could bring the money he stole from me.

30 minutes later I had an email stating that the table had shipped and would be here no later than Tuesday. He posted that a certain "Hot shot" service had the table. Well he had posted great reviews about this hot shot service before as he's used them in the past, they are on facebook. I contacted them just to see if there was ANY chance they had this table. Of course they knew nothing about this table but said they had done business with him in the past. They said "Maybe he contacts us Monday morning". I'll give it a few hours this morning and see what happens. Obviously the shippers mad they drug his name into it. But he's just given me more fraud ammo if so.

I’ve spoken to this guy, as Tulsa is just 2 1/2 hours away from me and I also make custom tables. He appears to be legit from our short conversations and from what I’ve seen, fwiw. Sorry, I didn’t see your post sooner.

Yikes! Ok, maybe disregard my comment. That sounds awful. Sorry you’re dealing with that. FWIW, I’m only a couple hour drive from Tulsa. I feel the same on fraud. I’ll spend ten grand over a significantly smaller fraudulent amount, just to insure the cocksucker doesn’t do the same thing to another poor sap.

He's obviously a table builder and a good craftsman. He's just a terrible businessman. He's selling these "closeout in stock tables" That aren't built yet. Promises delivery dates, then after the customer pays starts kicking the can down the road as long as possible. The problem for this guy is we had a trailer full of poker tables leaving the day he promised delivery and he knew this and was extremely aware of the situation. I rented a trailer, had 3 guys a hotel room, paid them wages. And we literally sat around waiting for him while he ghosted me on Thursday. He promised delivery Thursday morning and doesn't contact me until 9pm Sunday evening. There's multiple replies on this site where people have had to charge back or chase down their table. There's reviews on google of people who had to charge back after him not fulfilling their orders etc.

And honestly shame on me for not doing my due diligence. I don't spend too much time worrying about scammers though when they're less than an hour from me.

A few years back someone tried to scam me on a shuffle master. I made them so miserable their mom ended up contacting me and sending me my money back.

Yeah, that’s bullshit. Clearly no way to run a business. Disregard my comments for sure. Out of curiosity, you said you’re like 5 hours away from Tulsa. I live in the Springfield area of Missouri. Are you anywhere close by chance?

I only live an hour away from Tulsa (Stillwater Oklahoma). However our club is in the panhandle of Texas.

Small world. My sister in law was town manager of Stillwater up until July or so of 2024.

Exactly what he was trying to do as the local freight guy he said he shipped it with has had no contact with him over my table. SOooooooooooooo on todays episode of NEVER EVER try to scam me.

He sends me a paypal receipt with a fake tracking #. I notice the email from paypal is in his wife / gf's name whatever. Obviously his has gotten shut down from previous scamming. A quick google search of the email and what do I find? Her facebook profile, her about? She's a finance manager at a car dealership where I just happen to know the GM very well. Lets just say after a stern talking to I believe my table will be here tomorrow. I hate that I had to get her in the middle of it but she put herself in the middle of it when he conducted these scams from her identification. Then again maybe she didn't know and she will be mad enough to make him fulfill his obligations.

Page 3 of the scammer playbook. Play the victim when it doesn't work out.

Dear Mr. Thomas! I hope this email finds you well. Per the delivery email i sent out last night pertaining to your recent order placed on 8/8, and a hard date delivery On or before tomorrow (8/19) I have confirmed with T AND T Courior services, that they will be picking up and delivering your order tomorrow (8/19) roughly around 6pm! It has come to my attention that you have spoken with them (and many others apparently?)

Please be assured once the courier service has arrived at my location, you will then be contacted by either myself, or the courier service to arrange for delivery!!!

Also, my apologies for any unforseen circumstances that may have arose on my end, but im sure you may (or may not) understand... family is my number one priority during these trying times!!!

For future references, you may look to amazon or a much larger company to fulfill your needs for future orders!!!

Have a great evening, and look forward to hearing from us soon!!!!

Well the table was delivered by a third party tonight. I want to give some credit when it's due, the guys an amazing craftsman. I honestly wish his business ethics were the quality of the table, I'd order 4 more today.

Hey, I’m have the same issue with this guy. I order and pay him for a custom table. When the table supposed to be delivered, he just ghosted me and the table never show up. Can you prove me with all the info you have on him? So I can find a way to get the table or my money back. Really appreciate if you could help me out.

He would randomly get drunk or something and start texting me in the middle of the night for several weeks after this deal was over. Telling me "what a bitch" I was for getting his girlfriend involved, I was a "broke piece of shit" etc. etc. I mostly humored him. It got to be a little much and I finally blocked his # though. I never found the guy. Every business address is fake, I do seem to remember his actual company is called "Nicks woodworks by ernie" Let me see if I can dig the contact info up.

918-992-0065 is the last # he texted me from. Other than that I wish I knew how to help more. I just didn't go away.

He still use that same phone number. Can you give me his girlfriend name and the place she work at? I really appreciate if you could. I’m going to get her involved in this, bc I want to get the table I order or my money back.
