Someone please talk me out of doing a tribute CPC set (1 Viewer)

It's late, I'm struggling, I can't reach my chip sponsor, and I'm jonesing to do one last set. I'm working on a tribute set and that's a horrible idea. In addition I don't need another cash set. Please do your best to talk me out of this.

Make sure it's a three table set with built in secondaries.

Last I saw Beavis he was ranting about needing TP for his bunghole...

I feel the pressure to get a CPC set, I have my chip colors.

I have no theme.

I feel I can only do a tribute set or a rip off of some already made classic retro sets.

The pain is real.

EDIT: yes, just do a tribute set.

Maybe a theme around noble gases?

Dealer buttons, seating chips, and of course treat you self chips!

just don’t order a set.

Pretty easy solution, for me at least.

If you know the idea is bad, don’t execute it.

Ah got it.

Seems like a fun capper, but a less than ideal chip for a set (especially a mixed set). But don't mind me.

Edit: If continuing with it, IMO only recommendation to consider would be updating the inlay to better reflect the holiday inn chip's usage of stroke/shadows. The initial mockup seems too light, whereas the Holiday Inn I think has a bit better balance of light/dark.

agreed on the note. Mine's more 'looney tunes background' but playing with the colors and gradient sequence I think I could get it closer.

The other issue is CPCs biggest inlay still won't overlap edge spots in the way the real chip Paulson oversize inlay does.

I think you can do a lot better for the final CPC run.

Have you considered a heritage club tri moon cash set?
