PhoenixCNY (Andy) here.. doing my due diligence.. because I kinda want to get some samples, and those Dunes of Arrakis chips look amazing..
As the name implies, I'm in central NY, mainly interested in chips for use in tabletop gaming, though I certainly appreciate chips as an artform in and of themselves. Some of the designs are damn near masterpieces. I've been thinking about trying to put a custom set together for.. oh... about a decade now, and still haven't pulled the trigger.
I guess you could call me a bit of a procrastinator.
Still working on designs.. got heavily into logo and graphic design primarily as a way to figure out what I liked. I have an idea, but haven't quite gotten it where I want it.. maybe in a few more years.. There's a part of me that wants to do a pinball-themed set, another that wants a slightly more generic "Andy's House of Games" logo and theme. Been fighting with a concept of a hexagonal logo, shaped like a house made of a 6-sided die with a roof made of playing card aces.. and just grinding through iterations when I have time.
But, yeah. Big into tabletop stuff, and pinball. Been playing competitively for almost a decade.. not great, but top 500 in the world.. so, not terrible either. It's probably the only thing I don't mind "tooting my own horn" about.
