Poker is not dead. Maybe all the chips I bought at top of the market will come back in value. Lol
HDP goes to Vegas!I like the current poker room at the Venetian. From the article:
the new poker room will feature a self-serve soda fountain and coffee machine, dedicated restrooms, TVs throughout the room and USB and USB-C charging ports at every seat. This sounds pretty cool actually
Perhaps most interestingly, the new Venetian poker room will include a dedicated streaming room "allowing players to coordinate a vlogging session and provid(ing) the ability to stream tournament final tables and cash games."
Guess who's gearing up to host WSOPView attachment 1278261

Zero chance. Has to be a Caesar’s property. But Venetian runs great tourneys.Guess who's gearing up to host WSOP
That would make it a GRAND opening!Wonder if this mean new mint chips

They are going to have to pry it from Caesar's.Guess who's gearing up to host WSOP
I was there this past weekend and they were not open yet. The 2nd level did have a lot of walled off areas that advertised the new poker room that was coming soon. This would be a great location as walking to play poker at the wynn was quite a hike from the Venetian area.Just got a promo email about it. Is it open?
Edit: reading closer it opens August 2nd, plz someone go and report back![]()

Where in those canal shops is it? Any restaurant you remember it being close to?I was there this past weekend and they were not open yet. When you exit the Venetian into the canal shops, it's upstairs near some stores at the end of the gondola area. I think near Michael Kors.Where in those canal shops is it? Any restaurant you remember it being close to?
I will go opening day and see if they have any new chips. $3/hr comps until the end of the year is pretty decent.
What does the $3/hr mean? New to thisI will go opening day and see if they have any new chips. $3/hr comps until the end of the year is pretty decent.
When you use your players card at the table when you sit down they issue $3 for every hour onto your card to be used at restaurants and other outlets at Venetian. Most, if not all, poker rooms do this. The standard is $1 to $2 so $3 is pretty good. What does the $3/hr mean? New to this
Thanks, good to know. Do you know if they give tier points as well for poker? Don't gamble a whole lot but still made Sapphire recently from spending at the resort I guessWhen you use your players card at the table when you sit down they issue $3 for every hour onto your card to be used at restaurants and other outlets at Venetian. As far as I know, if you play enough you will move up through the tiers… but it will take much longer than just regular slots or tables. Thanks, good to know. Spending money at a resort gives you points faster too. If you eat at any restaurants connect to them, bill the charge to the room for quick points. Thanks, good to know. Crowd at 1/3 more interested in high hand jackpot than playing poker.
