I think that's how you can ensure a NAGB is sold for cost or likely sold for a loss.

About 3 people on PCF who like giant inlays. And maybe that number is too high.
Please let me know where I can find all the PNY, Bahamia, Vineyard, CP and Olivia’s owners.

Given the amount of Tigers that are in the classifieds right now, and assuming the rumors about retired spot patterns are true, then yeah it seems unlikely that you could get broad appeal WITH TYPICAL NAGB PRICES.
On the other hand, if some future NAGB grifter were content to profit only a buck or so a chip, yeah I bet they’d get their share of customers.
To be fair, the vast majority of the tigers for sale in the classified are NCV or dominations above cash game / T10K, or from the hot stamp set.

You dont see primaries or secondaries between $.25 and $25 hanging around.

Wait,I thought all the classified activity was because people were funding the next NAGB? Isn’t that the usually foreshadowing event?

Thats a ton of work, should the next organizer just do it for love? They should probably pay for the shipping too, right? All that time spent, its the least they could do for us.
This is hyperbole and boot licking. I have absolutely no beef with anyone managing to make a NAGB happen and they can charge whatever they like but let’s not pretend they’re doing this at cost. Tigers were insanely profitable to the organizers and similar NAGB chips have been too.

Who's pretending they're doing it at cost? How did you come up with that from my post? My whole comment was saying that they DID profit.

The Vineyard and Olivia’s owners have all disappeared - off to private islands or something. The Bahamia owners are all out scouring the beaches for $1 chips. The CP owners are stoned. And the PNY owners - I’m a Boston guy so I’ll spare you my thoughts about them.

Funny how I love an 818 (and even a 618) but I really hate whatever you call that RPC $5 spot pattern.
4DS18 - Totally agree with you on it as well. I'd rather have a 418.

Theres definitely a lot more work and out of pocket cost than simply flipping chips for profit. And there have been plenty of NAGB chips flipped at a much higher mark up than they were originally sold…because “market rates”

So it’s really just a matter of who you would prefer to see profit the most from these ventures.

Create a chip that will replace the Aztar Caruthersville 5, SCV, give members with a set first priority

If I had a set, and you offered me as a replacement $5 an unleaded THC with an untextured, unshaped inlay, I believe I would hate it as much as the original giant inlay RHC bastards.
