Western road trip - Lightning vs Coyotes live from The Mullett on Star Wars night

The Coyotes goalie stops all 46 shots he faced and the Lightning lose in a shootout but secure a valuable point - on to Las Vegas on Saturday night.
How was it in the Mullett? Ive been really curious about what its like watching NHL hockey in such an intimate arena.

The Bolts lose a close one 5-4 but secure 5 out of 8 possible points on the western road trip. Wins would have been more fun, but I still enjoyed two great games in cool arenas.

Win or lose the road trips are fun. I only wish I had time for them during the back to back Stanley Cup runs before the team was dismantled by the salary cap. They’re still pretty good though.

Looked like a fun road trip! I regret not going to the Vegas arena when I was in town -- next time.
I am going to my first game in Tampa in early March when they play the Flyers. Just happen to be in town visiting family, so going to check it out.

Nice new arena with an awesome sound system. The Vegas showgirls dancing at the glass during warmups at the Lightning end was a little over the top.

Ovi is a generational talent, but he seemed done with the season last game vs the Lightning. Only 2 shots and none of them dangerous - he just seemed disengaged. He did have 11 hits though

Sounds like he'd be a great fit for the Russian military.
He’s showing his age and had one or two good plays yesterday, but when he wings a shot at the goal and missed and hits the glass right in front of you it still seems like it is moving faster than any of the other shots.Nice seats
You can tell they are all just done with the season, not really enjoying it.
