Are you sure two boxes of racks is enough for your set?Yeah spinettis racks are great for these chips. Went all in on em. Just arrived today
Curious about these chips as well. I’ve seen some mention some barrels won’t fit into the unique racks. With prior “mint” chips, I have found that to mean there is a slight warpage in the chips, not that they’re just not “broken in”. Since I don’t have any, would love for someone to tap the top of a barrel edge, and see if there’s any “jiggle” in it or or of it stacks like bricks with no movement at all and report back.
Just got home. Hundos slightly tight but will fit. Barrel of $500s not so much. 25s tight enough you can turn over and they don’t come out. Will do before and after on $500s.So I just did the jiggle test on these stacks including the T500. No more or less than other Paulson barrels that have no problem fitting in Paulson/Unique racks.
Yeah, don’t force them, but if you squeeze with some finger pressure on both sides of the barrel and they go in you have your answer....so my 25's fell but my 100's didn't @Tonysquander!

CAN'T get 20 T500's to fit or at least too scared to try & force them

Nope.I’m curious if Paulson includes any “extra” chips in their orders the way that CPC does.
Slight digress to the thread, but any thoughts on long term storage using closed racks (matsui) vs open racks (unique, spinettis)?Yeah spinettis racks are great for these chips. Went all in on em. Just arrived today

And it feels more like a casinoIf the chips fit the rack, stacking racks on top of chips is not a problem. If you stack five racks of chips, the bottom chips will only be supporting the weight of four chips and a small fraction of the weight of the racks. It seems people here freak out thinking there is a tremendous weight being supported buy the bottom chips in the stack, but it really isn't.
I have ASM/CPC chips as well as Paulsons that I have stored in racks in bird cages (to keep the dust off) for over a decade and have no problems with the chips.
The only concern is if the chips were loose in the racks and the weight was being loaded unevenly across the edge of the chips. Spacers to fill the space in the rack can help fix this if you have mixed condition chips.
