Two things - Bloody hell at Old Trafford! What's that all about?

@Toonexile - Sorry mate, but this is funny.

A plane - funded by Sunderland fans - flies over St James' Park with the banner: 'Auf wiedersehen Prem, Tyne to go.'

Update on why Manchester United vs Bournemouth was abandoned
The 'suspect package' found at Old Trafford was a mobile phone attached to pipes.

They're just now letting the Man U. players leave, but only individually. Once one person drives away, they let another leave the dressing room. Bournemouth players and their coach (bus, not person.) still at the ground.

Controlled explosion has been carried out on the device, which was described as a mobile phone wired to some pipes...

So, relegated Newcastle, with 10 men, hang 5 on Spurs, knocking them down to third... WTF has gone on this season?? I think I'm ready for it to be over.

Oh dear....

"In what appears to be a staggering blunder, the ‘bomb’ was left at the stadium in error by an external training company in the days leading up to the game. A training exercise was held at the venue and the device, designed to look authentic, was not returned at its conclusion. "

Your Premier League ladies and gentlemen...

Rescheduled game is Tuesday, but it doesn't mean anything unless we win 19-0 I think. Which isn't going to happen. FA Cup Final this Saturday to look forward to. I have my ticket and cannot wait!

As an Arsenal fan, I don't know how to feel about this. Spurs finishing in 2nd would enhance the wake-up call for Arsenal. They squandered their best chance at a title in ages, but they are acting like they accomplished something relevant.

Sorry I'm so late to this topic. I didn't really get into European club football until 2006. When it came to choosing a team, I liked how Arsenal was able to be successful (at the time) without oil sheiks, American money launderers or Russian oligarchs, but now I wish oligarch Ushmanov could at least have more of a say in operations than money launderer Kronke. I also liked Cesc and Henry.

Sigh...

Countdown - I'm so depressed right now...

Even though the Euro's start in a few weeks, and I have the cool wall chart up... Is it possible to have Seasonal Affective Disorder in Summer?

I was watching the ManU game yesterday, and sadly, the last EPL thing I saw this season was a goal by effin Ashley Young... Going to have to watch an old game to get that taste out of my mouth...

Liverpool plays today in the Europa League finale. It's either Champion's League or no Europe next year it seems. Also don't forget about the FA cup final coming up.

Yeah, I'm on board with that, especially FA Cup final. Palace is my "second" team. I actually assigned to my girl, so I have an excuse to root for them. They haven't been in good form, so it'll be hard to beat United...

Men In Blazers suggested following MLS, like they always do. Initially, I scoffed at the idea, but then decided I would give it another try.

Have fun at Wembley! is Van Gaal getting sacked regardless of the outcome Saturday?

That's assuming the initial 7 minutes was the right amount of stoppage time.

It's official. The Special One is now in charge of Manchester United... I don't know how to feel about this decision. I feel our defense isn't as solid as it may need to be to park the bus. It will be an interesting transfer period as well... exciting and nerve wrecking lol

This 'park the bus' talk needs to stop. This has only ever been the case when he has known he is playing a better team and so he needs to counter the better players rather than giving his team more freedom to play, e.g., Inter Milan vs. Barcelona. But, even if it were the case, we had the best defense last season and if it wasn't for Smalling in the final game then David de Gea would have won the golden glove.

His Real Madrid side, for example, out-scored Barcelona in 2 of the 3 seasons he was there. With just Premier League football to play for next season (I'm discounting the Europa League) there are not going to be many sides we come up against where we're going to be second best. Perhaps City away, but I wouldn't be worried about any other match next season.

So, I'd remove the 'nerve wracking' and just be EXCITED!

I am one of the more nonviolent people in the world, but does Antoine Griezmann's goal celebration make anyone else want to punch him in the face?

Can I get 5000-1 on the Toffees - anyone? :)

Got Sky Q installed on Thursday just in time for 4k football! It's just a shame I'm out all day today, but I'll be on the couch all day tomorrow :D

Do you have a premier league fantasy team?

Negative. I've no interest in fantasy sports, even from a gambling standpoint. I just watch every game, and cheer for City first, and Palace second. The former look like they'll take some time to mesh, and the latter need to buy a striker or two, immediately. I mean, Sack Pardew needs to be on the phones as we speak. Especially since they're selling Bolasie, by all accounts.

Also, I'm thinking a bet on Leicester to be relegated might not be throwing away money. Wonder what odds I can get...

so with me being in the USA, having no cable TV and only access to the internet, is there anyway I can view vods of games? Even if it is a subscription service of like $100 a year. I always miss out on the games because the rare ones that do air on TV will air while I'm asleep or while I'm at work. I only get access to highlights on youtube and I would like to watch a few games on my downtime
