The third card determines the suit of the split card, so if its a heart, the high or low of hearts wins half the pot

The 2-7 low, 8 no split, 9-A high, A high is what’s confusing me.

There are 6 cards lower than an 8 if the Ace is high only, and there are 6 cards higher than an 8 if the Ace is high only.

So there is no split because the 3rd card is an , but if there was a split it would be a the high/low of

- Shoulda (as in “we shoulda played something else)
- Durian (because this game stinks)
