I like to think I have advocated for Circus Games, and I've written a manifesto for Circus Game Progression
I have had a blast with the previous group buys; I have noticed that it can be a bit overwhelming for people to browse through 45 game plaques. People will often look at a few, slide through the rest of the deck, and then close them up and set them down. I want to make the cards and games more appealing, and I think that if they are offered fewer choices, they will focus more on the options presented without feeling the need to spend excessive time picking a new game to play.
I've been working on this project for a bit now, and I'm excited about the efficiency of this set. One of the issues with the previous set is that everyone wants another game card, or a variant of the provided plaques; it seems endless.
I have also found that once someone understands a game concept or mechanic, they are willing to play variations of said game. Curating this set of games, my goal was to introduce specific game mechanics for players to learn. These concepts are the basis for other games and variants. I found 10 unique games that teach these concepts.
I've made the cards more durable and slightly smaller for easier handling. I would like to thank @<°)))><) for pointing me to this, along with inspiring some design changes.
10 Games on 5 cards; each has a game on the front and a back.
