Another Tuesday Night hand #1 (4 Viewers)

Also with the info you posted, I'm most worried about the CO here, last to ack on the re-pot pre-flop. Not sure if he check raises or on a draw, I also don't wanna give him free cards to a straight or if he has the suited :ac:

I'm thinking :3h:/:3d: might be your best card

Why is Hero playing this hand if not for flops like this? Well, maybe a top set flop is better, but this is pretty good.

Hero should bet, sizing "standard" for his style. Likely pot.

In general, I feel people are well served by mixing in rundown sorts of hands to keep from only raising aces. I hope Hero's decision to 4-bet here is based on hand quality rather than just trying to mix up his preflop play.

It's both. Double suited kings is a pretty good hand, I'm not 4 betting with double suited 3s.

Luckily this year I’m not in the negative. ( yet)

I’m playing terrible and know it.

I need live degen tingles. Online poker isn’t giving me the fix I need

This feels like a pretty good board for my hand. Most likely the best overpair (I would thing Aces would have 5-bet pre, or at least aces with at least one suit), so if I pot, worst case scenario if I get check raised I’m probably facing a set, and I have overs and a flush draw. If I get check raised and then cutoff calls I do have to be at least a little concerned about facing a set and the nut flush draw.

Anyway, I bet $85, and both villains call. Pot is now $340, I have $256.75 behind, CO has $272.25 behind, and UTG has us covered. Turn is :2s:. UTG snap pots, villain 1 thinks for a bit and calls. What do I do now?

Jam/call. You're pot committed at this point but I can't help but to feel one villain has the Ace and another one of your suits and that you'll be second best with any black card coming out.

I’d assume, against competent opponents, that one of those guys has the nut flush. That’s what I’d see 90% of the time online, anyway. But you’re playing live, against guys you know - how often is it that neither of these guys has a suited ace of clubs?

I don’t want to fold here, but it feels a lot like I can’t win, so why throw away another $200+?

Ditto. Just gotta hope there's a mix of wraps or top two pair hands in there, or mediocre flush draws. I mean maybe you find a laydown against a tight table, but this table doesn't seem that way.

The board is :7s::9c::3c::2s: there isn’t a flush.

Double flush draw and any king……. Let’s gooooooooo. Not even a thought. Car keys in the pot.

it almost doesn't matter what you have, you're getting 3x your money. I'm concerned now that you have to hit to win, best case is 456 pushed as first to ack, which could mean 3's are not safe, as he might have called with 3456, or 2345 thinking he has live cards. It doesn't sound like he'd have shoved turning a set.

If you checked the turn, it's a different game at this point, easy to let go of.

Seems pretty late in the hand to worry about the consequences of playing non-nut flush draws. The time to worry was preflop, perhaps the flop. Now Hero is getting better than three to one odds and doesn't need to worry about further river decisions.

14 "safe" flush outs plus 2 top set kings Hero makes a hand 36% of the time having put in 23% of the money on the turn. Sometimes hero's flush is no good. But there seems to be enough pot odds value to make the call anyway. Just be glad there isn't a big bet left behind on the river.

I expect the expected value is positive but pretty thin. Enough to make the call reasonable.

Even if only one of the flush draws are good, and if someone has a set so 2 if other suit are no good, you still have 9 outs (25%). You are calling 256.75 to win a little over 1400. ~18%. Have to have to have to call here

I agree but then this happens and you don’t play poker for 2 months: (NLHE)

Scared money don’t win money. Plus. These yahoos both probably have wraps, maybe one has a spade draw witch may or not be better than. Chippies. Best made hand one of these guys has is two pair. Any set raises flop.

Can’t say it emphatically enough, we have to get it in here.

Total main pot if I call will be a little over 1100

I am in check/call mode post flop....seems like if we bet, only better hands are calling. If we call, at least we keep in some questionable decisions from our opponents.

I am still fishy, didnt get much reading in yesterday. But who knows? Maybe that gets me an invite to one of the best games in town.

I played with you in person….. u r definitely “IN” no matter what u say in the thread.

Ok so I called pretty quickly. I figured both my Ks were good, and even if only one of my flush draws was live I was getting the right odds. If both were live I was in great shape equity-wise.
