Interest Aurora Star 100k plaques (1 Viewer)

HI guys,

I wanted to put an idea out there. First, I have no time to run the group buy, but wanted to spark and interest and see what ideas spring up. I talked to Tommy and John and they are ok with it. I think a 100k plaque to go with the tourney set would be cool. MSK seems like a good choice, cost wise, as there would be the typical royalty to Tommy and John added on. Not sure about colors or size, but probably a mid sized plaque would be good. John showed me early designs, but you know he'll bust out the best looking design if we move forward. So let's talk about it. post ideas and the amount you might want to get. thanks, frank

500k is of no interest to me, but if we get the 100k going, I'm sure we can do a 500k, but there might not be any interest

Agree here, but make sure to get the larger plaque size if you do (not the smallest size, which are the size of a credit card). I’d be interested in 20-40 $20 plaques if that happens.

Regarding selecting color and size choices to mesh well with the original line-up, I'd contact the designers of the AST set for their recommendations.

Was thinking definitely red (my thought of was bright red like the Wynn color) or white. Needs to go along w the blaze orange and blue.

Yeah, my first thought was white with red and silver accents.

definitely need help with colors and plaque choices, want the color to work well with the upper denoms , J5 is working on the art

I'm thinking rounded corners, size wise, either 94mm or 107mm. I'm looking at the Casino de Isthmus plaques for some type of idea. The 10k plaque is 94mm, 25k is 107mm. They are tri colored which I really like, but not sure if that would look good, but if you think about it, all the chips are tri colored.

But I love the simplicity of the Wynn plaques.

I lined up the AST T1K, T5K and T25K along some other chips to see what colors looked nice with them, the chips I think looked good were

Hsi $5 (unknown)
VLV $500 (unknown)
ESST T500 (Blurple)
ESST T100K (White)
ESPT T25 (Sherbert Green)


I don’t know the name of some of the colors and I don’t have any photos (my camera on my phone don’t catch the colors at all)

Gotcha. I have no experience in that field.

Should we offer someone the plaques for free? Whoever runs it. They get 10 plaques ($200 value)? We bake it into the overall costs etc.
