Edit: Thanks for sharing how silly all of these ideas were. I have updated my rules.

Previous post:

Microstakes 0.05/0.05.

If I have a long list of attendees and lots of alternates, I will not allow top-ups or "match the stack" for a cashgame. Is that silly? I want players to bust to be able to rotate in new guests.

Also would it be unfair if I as the host had a "host cannot bust out" feature and an auto-topup feature (others cannot top up but i as the host/dealer can)?

It is a round table that can seat 6 or 7. There is a pool of around >10 that would want to play. Unfortunatly I cannot add any more tables or use the usual locations where I host my free tourneys as this is now a cash game (unraked, but now with stakes)

To me personally I would be upset if the host could auto top up and I as a guest could not; furthermore I’d be upset if I busted at a cash game and couldn’t rebuy. This structure feels like a single table tournament that is representing as a cash game. When my buddies and I play we have 8 spots and probably 10-14 players regularly, we play first come first serve and once someone gets bored they swap out and if they don’t get a chance to play they can play the next week with dibs on a seat. Everyone gets a little action no matter what when we start playing the horse races though. Just my two cents.
