wow The Chip Game turned into the Shoe game real fast over the last year or so it's almost impossible to get Jordans at Retail the past however many years

I soaked like 40 in some Arm and Hammer plus Oxi for like a half hour it was suprising

easier to clean these than Jacks or Clevelands 100% to me it seems anyway

Also TSP is very abrasive, we switched to Oxi Crystal's years ago and oxi laundry detergent!

After hand scrubbing it does dry them out but oil brings them right back! Don't even own any TSP anymore, throw that stuff out.

Just dried @FordPickup92 sample set and they look great!

Any one with "extra $1s and $5s with the other inlays, and the other colored $1... we would love to build a full sample set.

how did you get that $1,000 so clean what is you're Method ?

There are still 10ks of each denom - $1 to $25 this morning but it was gone in the afternoon.

Not near as dirty as I was expecting. And didn’t have that strong of a smell either.

Put them a couple of times through an ultrasonic with some dawn and then took an electric toothbrush to the top hats that were dirty and that’s pretty much it.

I was very surprised at how slick/plasticy they felt, but I guess I’ve just never handled casino chips that were anywhere near that old.

You put them through the Ultra Sonic—twice—and they still have a cigarette smell?

I was thinking of getting some for a low stakes set, but I will not put smelly chips on my new poker table that my wife doesn't know about yet.

@cvanem please let us know if and how you got rid of the smoke smell.

Ultrasonic once, then hand clean.

As far as removing the cigarette smoke smell, I just did a quick one minute wash in warm water + dawn + oxy detergent + baking soda and that seems to do the trick.

Seems unlikely considering how recently they went up for sale. I’m guessing it’s a vendor who’ll clean them and sell them marked up by 20-40c a chip. Might as well ask though…

Is anyone interested in trading bacc room $5's or anniversary $25's for a premium...say 1:1.5 in white label/non anniversary chips. Looking for 2 barrels + 1 chip of the anniversary $25's and 2 barrels + 13 chips of the BR or dark label $5's (if they are in similar condition to the BR, it seems most of them are). So 41 A$25's for 62 or so normal $25's and 53 BR $5's for 80 or so normal $5's. PM if interested or want to suggest something else.
