Are the silver flecks on these chips lead powder that was added for weight?
I had 2 order brochure’s, one from GPI and one from Paulson long ago and GPI was from before they stopped using “metal flecks” as a security. They both said Gold and tantalum metal flecks.

Also, to confirm such claim, I have their Conflict(blood diamond etc) minerals statement, which I’ll write below, also ASM/CPC chips contain brass.

“Gaming Partners International Corporation (“GPIC,” the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) takes its obligations under the Conflict Minerals Rule seriously. As used in this policy, the Company includes all our majority-owned subsidiaries that are required to be consolidated. GPIC is committed to ensuring that the metals and other minerals contained in its casino currency products are obtained, produced and used in a socially responsible manner.

The Company does not directly source Conflict Minerals and is several levels removed from the actual mining and smelting process of Conflict Minerals. GPIC therefore requires the cooperation of its suppliers in the implementation and execution of its processes to comply with the Conflict Minerals Rule. The Company follows the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains for Minerals for Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, including Supplements on Tin, Tantalum and Tungsten, and the Gold Supplement for supply chain diligence relating to Conflict Minerals”

oh... so I can understand why just a few casinos are still using chips with metal flecks

During my last visit in Las Vegas, I was impressed by chips with metal flecks...
I saw (and used) them only at MGM Grand and Harrah's. At MGM, only normal (and older) 100$ had metal flecks. LE 100$ (issued much later) has not

Love that $100, That’s correct, also it was a pretty big up charge and I ASSUME costs to produce along with price to have that security and conflict mineral pressure made them seize its production just like the lead issue. That’s why these chips are valuable across the board, to me anyway, plus they are better made, or maybe it was those guys from Vegas who counterfeit chips and put glitter sparkles on the chips they painted and they(gpi) decided ehh it can be faked too lol(I’m joking, well not about guys using dollar store sparkles on their fake $100 and $500 chips in Vegas)

That's really strange. We have the exact same timestamp for that departure, but mine arrived at the Boston regional facility at 10:48am the next day (December 1). I received them yesterday (December 2).

You stole my chips!

So I got 400 jack chips and interestingly the ones are actually probably in the best condition given their circulation the second best would be the 500s and then the third would be the 25s then the 100s then the fives.

So I took some photos and the fives are in the worst cleaning condition of all of them These are probably the worst of the denominations in the photos.

Also if anybody wanted the grand opening chips to trade for non-grand opening chips I would be interested I only got eight of the 25s and 14 of the fives had the grand opening

Nice Ben, lots of cleaning to do. You must be excited, lol.

66.7MM are perfect size for Paul-son, you want to insert Paul-son's in nice and tight, if they are new, you can spit on your finger and rub around the edges of the rack to get them in perfect fit.
@CptUnderpants
P.s spitting on your fingers ‘twas a joke, they’ll fit fine in 66.7, people on here can lead you to getting proper racks for your chips, where I get them you have to buy 120 of them. I’m sure someone will respond and chime in if you don’t already know where to go.

These are simply awesome chips. Glad I added on to the set. Here is a sample of my Black Friday order that arrived today and have been cleaned with a magic eraser and then oiled. Essentially minty, I’m very pleased (again)!

Man wish I was able to get my hands on a low stakes set
You look like a newbie so if I decide to part with mine in the future I'll give you mine at my cost. It's honestly unlikely though because I'm digging these so far

That would be so amazing. If you do, I'd be in for em no doubt! Glad you're enjoying them though. Good pickup
