Consider this for a second.
Out of a rack of chips, only 5 get struck during a rack check. (5% chance)
And of those 5 each time, obviously only 1 side gets struck. (2.5% chance)
With this in mind...good GOD....how long was this chip in play (without a wash, mind you)...to get THAT many rack check marks?!?!

3 Casinos I worked at cage peeps would not just rack check one swipe down side flip rack down side. ( they would swipe the chip across the side back and forth sometimes 3-4 times a side. So wouldn’t take long that way) are cameras and cage security had to see the physical rack check on 100s and above so that’s why we had some murdered 100s that looked comparable!!!
1 casino I worked at laughed at the rack check when we was opening ( gaming commission wanted them to do it they said no !!) so we counted every rack!
So plausible lots of the chips could look like that.
