Thanks...I have 2 racks $500 underway...hope to cherry pick one VGC rack after cleaning.
Since I can not stand faux shaped inlays, these will be murdered

Out of 500 probably about 60-70 are excellent+/“mint”

After looking through 500 of them these 11 were the worst of it. But from the side most of these looked to be excellent and chalky in condition. It’s like they were barely put it play and beaten up on one side. If they can be cleaned they will be in great shape.

Update on these super dirty ones. A soak in warm water/Dawn and a good ole fashioned scrubbing with the rough side of the dish sponge got the inlays spotless. The tough part is around the inlay so I carefully scraped away the hooker juice with the same tool I use to remove the inlays with. You just have to be super careful to not take chunks of clay when scraping.

My chips were shipped yesterday. I have tracked the shipment 4x in the last hour alone! Like 100x since yesterday.

Jim refunded the shipping charges on the second order like a boss. But my two orders are being shipped in separate boxes anyway.

Tracking on one shows delivery is tomorrow. Yay.

I’m new to this and I am curious what the rack checks are? I get that they are marks on the chips that I believe are left by other chips? But I have no idea how they happen.

usps is the absolute worst about that. It might even say that after you get it. I had a package show up one time and tracking told me a week later it arrived. If then I was trying to figure out what else I ordered’ lol

Noob question - where can I get some chip racks that fit the Jacks? I didn't even realize they came in different sizes til today. Are these any good?

All the jack sold in this sale are 39mm

only Jack $1k and above are 43mm

I got my IOC tourney set yesterday. The chips are in beautiful condition! Great stamps, its too bad my plan is to remove them.

I need to unfollow this thread. I am currently trying to talk myself out of putting in another order for the MS $1's, $5's and $25's to make another cash set. Use the 25's as .25's until I could relabel them. 160 $.25 ($25's), 160 $1's, 180 $5's makes an $1,100 bank for an 8 player $.25/$.50 game with a max buy in of $50. All for less than $200 and a little elbow grease. Judging from everybody's pictures so far, they seem to mostly be in relatively good shape, why is that not a no brainer?

Will you need to mill them down or would labelling over the hot stamp not cause any issues? Maybe a noobie question but never owned any hot stamped chips before.

I am assuming I will have to mill. Everything I read is that hot stamp will show through if I put a thin label on to stay below the recess and not create spinners.
