As a life long Mets fan I always disregarded the Yankees success as "they're buying their championships" while Mets ownership had to settle for shopping in the bargain bin. Well, what an ironic twist of fate now that it's Steve Cohen buying us championships and Yankees are essentially shopping in the bargain bin, and I'm OK with it :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

I'll be the first to admit the Michigan team has improved immensely since the beginning of the season. My gut tells me they have no shot against Georgia, but then I remember how they dominated the Buckeyes from start to finish.

All that said, I still can't believe there is support for Harbaugh. He has VASTLY under-performed. One great run does not make up for all his failures. IMO, Michigan is winning in spite of Harbaugh, not because of him... Years of top national draft classes and just loaded with talent.

As a Spartan, I say sign him to a lifetime contract.

Now I'll just leave this here and be on my way...

I'm a huge Michigan fan, and I think that historically people have over valued how "powerful" Michigan was in the 80s and 90s. Have they always been a pretty good program, Yes. Are they on the level that Bama, Georgia, and Ohio State have been over the last 15 or so years, no.

From 1990 - 2014 (24 years) they had 8 seasons with 10+ wins (33%). In Harbaughs 7 years, he's had 4 (57%). And during his tenure he's head to deal with a much better Michigan State, Ohio State, and Penn State team than coaches in the 90's had to deal with.

So the fact that he beat down OSU and convincingly won the Big10 Championship and is #2 and in the CFP, I would say he's performing well and has the program in a good place.
