The Chipguide colors are usually just vague descriptions of the color the submitters make up, so yes they're wrong here. That's definitely not Paulson's "Dark Blue".Chipguide lost it as dark blue maybe there wrong ?

That’s too many $100’s and $500’s for a “low stakes” game. Also is this a pretty decent breakdown of chips for just cash game play (low stakes)? A little new to owning them myself and hosting games.

thanks! i did want some 500s so i had a couple, but i'll break it down like that. I also wanted extras so i could pick and choose good ones. That’s too many $100’s and $500’s for a “low stakes” game.
I would probably go with
200 - $1’s
200 - $5’s
80 - $25’s
20 - $100’s
That allows for $5200 on the table
Chip guide does not speak in actual Paulson colors.Chipguide lost it as dark blue maybe there wrong ?
I thought they were bronzelooks blurple to me. such a minor asthetic detail though - these are budget workhorse chips.
but who knows, maybe somewhere out there is a guy deeply regretting his HSI1 primary purchase because he thought it had a beautiful, rich, earthy russet edge spot when it in fact turned out to be dark brown.
here is the table I made up for a ~1/2 cash set that could also see the $25's play as quarters. You could order 200-1's but 160 will work fine.thanks! i did want some 500s so i had a couple, but i'll break it down like that.

This set also allows for a T5 based tournament when you buy 610 chips (total cash) with 450 of those chips available for tournaments. breakdowns down for a 1/2 buy in and for a tournament 10 table set with a chip value of 2000....or you could issue less with 1xrebuy option. (this is a minimum set in my opinion to cover all listed. I would want to add 40-$25's, 20-$100, 10-$500 to give some more tournament option.

if going majestics ordering the tourney set then 200 to 300 1's and 5's will cover you for everythingThanks! i think im leaning to the majestics, but those Jack look pretty!
Don't forget that the Spotted Birds are still live chips although you do not want to cash any of those in!Just to point out, but the 2 of the most highly priced/valued live Vegas $1 chips right now are circus circus and flamingo, with binions not far behind and all are blue.
My guess is, they will sell as a set at this price point for this sale. Anything that doesn’t sell will be marked down again, as a set, for a future sale.@TheChipRoom Will the 36mm tourney chips be made available individually after the first hour or anytime in the future?
By low stake if you mean $1/$1 to $1/$2Do the Jacks have a hole drilled in them (25 and up?)

I’m making the same consideration, any info to share on your decision? Thanks! i think im leaning to the majestics, but those Jack look pretty!
If you afford just extra $20 per rack, I will suggest go for Jack Cincin instead, the used condition of Jack is still in very good condition with some at even Very Good condition with little to no flea bite. They can fitted like 20 or 20.5 chip per barrel still. Thanks! i think im leaning to the majestics, but those Jack look pretty!
I have one too. The inlay isn't textured though. The spots on mine are more purple and peach that blue and red.I was just looking through my singles, and I have a few Majestic Star $1s.
These have textured inlays, folks.
Not common on a RHC, but very nice.
Not sure if all versions have textures though.

Too bad they dropped the texture.
Have you seen most of his posts? He doesn’t care about rules.
the 1s and 5ks have black, the rest are red. but we know that this isn't specific to the denom so it's probably a mixture from different orders where some are textured some aren't where it's probably the older / more worn ones that have the texture if anything.Too bad they dropped the texture.
However, in Jim’s pics, the higher denoms all have a red denom so they may be textured?
