I spoke with Mark's wife this morning on my way to the brewery today and was updated on his condition. Mark ended up going into surgery on the 23rd to repair some bleeding in one of his lungs. they fixed it and shut down that lung so he could remain on a ventilator on the other lung. He has been stable throughout the last two nights. He will be going back into surgery today to close up his chest which they had left open.

His wife did provide me a link with Caring Bridge that she and family members will be updating on his condition. I can provide the link to anyone that would like to join in on the prayers for Mark or send him well wishes. There you will also be able to view his progress. Mark had the surgery today to close up his chest and is currently in stable condition.

Yes, Mark is remaining stable and his wife has said he squeeze her hand when she speaks with him. He is off the blood pressure medicine and remains stable. Long road ahead for him but many people are praying for him.

Mark does not seem to be headed in a positive direction. They did replace his ECMO which was successful. His wife posted that he had a declining day. The doctors are doing all they can and the best they can. There is a risk in the treatment with someone this sick and tonight will be a long night.
