All, please keep a look out for 2 racks of Empress Star $5 chips from questionable sources.

Had 2 racks “delivered” today to my front door via FedEx. Notifications were on and within 3 minutes of receiving the notification, my wife was out front with no package in sight.

Yes I know, require a signature, pay for insurance, have FedEx hold it if I have to be at work, install a camera at the front door, etc etc. Please keep a look-out

I will Liam Neeson a mother-f***er, I guarantee it.

Look by your mailbox. FedEx is lazy might not be where common sense dictates.

Sometimes they will make a package delivered even though they didn’t deliver it. I have had this happen a few times with different carriers.

This happened to me just last week. Got a packaged delivered notice but nothing on the porch. Filed a noticed and was told it was marked delivered in error and showed up the next day.

Had this happen a few weeks ago and was told to wait a few days before filing a claim. It never showed up.

This.

Check with your neighbors too. I had a shipment marked as delivered but not on my porch. Went for a walk and rang the bell of my next door neighbor and they had it.

My FedEx package (not international) was “delivered” today at 1:11 PM. My wife was outside at 1:14 PM, package is nowhere to be found.

I'd give it more than an hour before getting too worked up.

Agreed. I've had packages marked delivered hours before they actually were, not to mention packages delivered to neighbors by mistake that I didn't get until later in the evening or the next day.

This is actually pretty common. I can’t vouch for the accuracy of this, but this past Christmas I had a UPS driver tell me they HAVE to deliver the package to the house their corporate GPS system tells them too - even if it’s the wrong house. The system tracks where they stop and the handhelds they use to mark the package delivered knows the location. Which is why they always check it off when they are standing in front of your house.

Good chance it’s with a nieghbor, or just not delivered yet. That’s pretty quick for porch pirate to snag it and the likelyhood of the driver knowing what they are and value is pretty low.

Never wait a few days. Typically when companies say this, it is because they are being lazy and just want you to go away. You help yourself by insisting they follow up immediately or speak to their supervisor.

Also, FedEx is shit. I've had two lost deliveries (not chips) in the last month. One of them was perishables; that went over well.

Honestly, it felt like a scam from the get go. The claim I was referring to was with the website that retailers sell through. They wanted me to wait a few days before they issued a full refund.

Is there a way that someone can get a package through FedEx and get it to read delivered without actually sending a package?

Did you check under the doormat?

I've had a package marked delivered but nothing was on my porch. After calling around, I discovered that it was "delivered" but no one was there to accept it (even though there was no signature needed and I was home the whole day), so it was brought to the closest post office. I picked it up the next day.

I think FedEx is the most unreliable by me (compared to the other services). I have either had them place it in a very odd location such as the corner of my driveway door, where I would then proceed to run it over with my car. Or I've actually had them on several occasions deliver it to the wrong house.

Whenever it's been marked as delivered but it's not in front of my house, I usually first check the garage and then I check the deck. Failing that, I drive around my street looking for packages that resemble what I purchased.

Can somebody check any prior deliveries they’ve had from FedEx? When you select “obtain proof of delivery” there’s a PDF with information on the delivery.

Mine does not show anything in terms of a delivery address. Have others shown the same thing or does it typically show the address it delivered to?

This has happened multiple times to me, only second to them saying undeliverable. I honestly think it’s for their stats so they can say the delivered/attempted X packages a day.

If you consider the "neighbors" exactly 15 houses down, yes it was at the neighbors.
Both times this has happened to me with FedEx, it was because somebody had handwritten the wrong house number on the box. So even though the actual shipping label had my address on it, it went to the hand written number.

If anyone needs help with USPS lmk but this happened to me..

i was home and got alert that my package was delivered but I know they scan before delivering at destination at times and figured mailman was waiting to deliver because it’s heavy. package was not delivered, I panic and lucky for me my mom is customer service for USPS and she said they delivered to a house on the street next to mine. So I went to the street over with my address got super lucky that they had my package. $1,700 package that I would’ve lost.. I sucked out and then downed a 40 oz. I was happy af

I'd probably do the same exact thing, TBH.
