I just think we need to get the last of the chips on US soil asap and make at least some people whole/partially whole. I know it's not many chips but it's a start. Happy to chip in if need be. I'll wait on @Bloody Marvelous. Thank you for being in communication with Poppin and volunteering your time and sanity.

Yes, I know. I am assuming nothing comes to my door until an actual box shows up with those contents. As the saying goes, I'll believe it when I see it.

I believe it to be around 80 Euros.
While I appreciate the offer to collect the shipping cost from the forum members, I would suggest to let him make the first step to make people whole, rather than adding to the debt, whether monetary of psychological.

I will go over to Poppin92's house, check the contents of the package with him and then accompany him to the post office to witness him ship it to @horseshoez. He will pay for shipping and mail the package. There will be no cost to me.

Again, I appreciate the gesture, but this is an important first step for Poppin92 that needs to be made so other steps can follow.

I don't think that all the people who are out money or product will be made whole by poppin's actions alone.

I support Zaki's efforts to fundraiser for this. However, I don't think it's reasonable to shoot for the entire 20k or whatever it is.

I humbly suggest that we allow for a reasonable amount of time, say 2 months, to see if at least a few who are owed actually receive the product. That way we have a more reasonable estimate of what is truly beyond recovery.

After, we then try to fundraise a reasonable percentage of the remaining losses, say 25-40%. We keep records. If eventually more restitution money comes in, then those who donated get compensated first, in order of largest to smallest.
 
In an effort to do my part, I have chosen an affected member who will receive every dollar of the proceeds from my auction. I respect the decisions of others and how they think the process should take place with their money but I will not have my donation sit in limbo while we figure out whether a package will come in or not. Some members have stated they’ve been waiting nearly 2 months with no update at all.

The member has agreed to provide me with all the material I’ve requested to confirm the fraud took place and permitted me to share it publicly. I will do so at the conclusion of my auction on Friday. This member is known to me and aside from the material they’re sending me, I trust their word when they say they were scammed.

I guarantee @horseshoez has their loss included in his total already. Should the member’s chips ever arrive to them, I believe unreservedly so, they would send back the funds so it could be reimbursed to other members whose chips never arrived.

Follow whatever plan you think is best but this is my money and I will contribute it as I see fit.
