Post #1 of the Epic(to a lot of us) Cards Mold group by run by @SeanGecko.
This was my first experience in a group buy and my PM to Sean asking him to see if we can gather 10,000 chips turned into something that most would never have the patience, time, selflessness to pull off. He spearheaded this and it was great to be a part of it and to see so many creative designs and idea's come to fruition. This is what "community" is all about and why I'm glad to be a part of PCF.

Not in. As these won't fit in any sets I have nor in any current projects. But this thread is a great opportunity to shed light on great tips and topics. Plus, I self identify as an asshat. :)

Haven’t seen anyone else post it - this has been a valuable resource for me. Found out about a lot of local chips worth harvesting and useful filters to find chips exactly to the specs I’m looking for.

So many great moments... I couldn't decide between Ronoh and Mr. Tree's epic Lazy SOHE hand, or the Field Sobriety test given to @CraigT78

In the end, I chose this post of mine.. It detailed the most epic (to me) tourney win (2016 WCB main event). It was a crazy run where I went ALL-IN over 40+ times!!! I had been razzing Jeff for months to simply put my name on the first place trophy (no real thought I'd win, just being dumb), and after being short stacked (between 8-10bb for over half the tourney), I snagged the victory

So, this is funny.

A few people have posted wondering if they were on my asshat list (self identifying as an asshat versus being on my asshat list are two different things), and when @TheDuke posted this, I was like... man, I’m not mad that you sold the free giveaway prize, at least you PM’ed me to check it if was cool before you did.

And then I realized that was @The_dude and not @TheDuke. I actually realized I have no idea who @TheDuke is, don’t remember a single interaction between us.

My Asshat list is exactly 3 people deep. No one who posted on this entire 9 page thread is on it.

This is a pretty cool and generous offer but these don't fit in with any current chips or current build projects.

I just thought it was a great way to highlight the oil dip method of oiling. I'm super lazy - the hand oil method is way too tedious for me. The simplicity, speed, and effectiveness of oil dip method needs to be put out there!

If you happen to pick my linked posts as one of your favorites I'd happily defer to any new member. It's hard for new members to acquire chips when they don't have the connections and status as compared to veteran chippers.

I know the deadline has passed, but if possible I would like to submit, on Ben’s (@Ben8257) behalf, his recent post in the SASC meet up thread. His post (and really the entire thread following the @Seeking Alpha Social Club meet up) represents what is best about this forum. People from all walks of life, young and old, and from different geographic locations coming together for the love of chips and poker. I can’t think of a better post (or thread) that demonstrates the awesomeness of this forum. Ben summed up the meet up bueatifully in his post (as did others in the thread). Just thought the post was worthy of consideration.
