Found PCA $5 Secondary (24 Viewers)

Help.

Need quantity but will take any that are available. Don't have a whole lot to trade but I'm open to any discussion about $$ and can be very flexible with anyone who has racks available.

I wanted to add 2 more racks around the start of the Covid stuff last year but went with Empress instead cause they were half the cost. Now I wish I had just bought both.

Blue edge spot on red base...Such a boring/predictable chip in my opinion. I think the $25 is cool though.

They're bold and sharp, looks classy AF, probably top 3 favorite red chip in qty but yellows will always beat them out for me.

I understand the "boring" sentiment (especially from Cali-set-whores ), but I would personally call them classy. Add in that they are leaded/shaped and I think they are definitely worth five bills, relative to the current market. Now at $1,250...

Yeah they are leaded and shaped inlay etc etc but I think they could have done so much better with that edge spot pattern. Why pick blue?!

I actually agree, I just get where the love is coming from. I am also a Cali-slut; it is just harder work in acquisition.

The $25 and $500 are definitely the stars in PCA lineup for me.

For me, at least now, it's more about the set as a whole rather than a single chip. $500s and $100s are fire, $25 is great, $5 is a top 3 red $5 IMO and shaped inlay frac? Yes please. The $1 being RHC is weird but I've come to appreciate it in its own right. Top to bottom, pretty tough to beat.

In all seriousness though, you will eventually get them I’m sure. In 12mo time here I have learned that the concept of chipping « vault » is used loosely.

Sorry bud. At $800, I was squarely on the fence. At $1250, it was a no-brainer. When the whole point of the set is to build it bigger - up to 4 racks of $5’s, maybe - and it becomes suddenly apparent that that’s impossible, I sell for $1250. I can get philosophical and grumble and be principled with the best of them. Until somebody says $1250. Then it’s easy.

Yeah, I guess I can't begrudge anyone for $1250. I'm more just sad for my incomplete set.

Just came to say although we may not agree on things, I am sad for you too. I've been lurking in the shadows letting everyone fight over PCAs while waiting to add another rack or 2 of 5s to my set. Not gonna happen now.
Sorry to all the PCA fans out there who haven't finished their sets.
