Man, I feel this is highly debatable and subject to every chippers taste. There are other leaded $5s and while I like them too, even wanted them for a bit, but not that bad. I paid half this price for my sharp leaded Empress $5s. I’ve handled the PCAs and they feel the same as any other leaded $5 THCs I’ve used. To each their own!

The PCA's are iconic in our chipping world...
They came available via TCR and it was THE BEST haul Jim ever got.

This was still during CT (ChipTalk) times....he needed 3 dedicated sales to get them all sold.
Pricing in those days are hard to understand nowadays.

Most of the members from those days left the scene, went silent or are not with us anymore.
During the years, the pricing went up due to availability.

Not sure how many original buyers still have their set...I think i'm one of few lucky ones.

$5 and up is one of the best leaded, shaped & textured casino racks ever....
Are there better individual chips...or one if kind chip sets....for sure.

But all original, hard to beat the PCA

Comparing unleaded contemporary RHCs to leaded THCs with textured, shaped inlays is like comparing apples to oranges. There just aren't very many $5 chips in playable quantities on the market in near mint condition that meet all the criteria of the PCA chips. You've got the PCA's, the Empress, golden eagles, silver palace, and that's all I can think of, off the top of my head. If there are others, there aren't many. They're all probably selling in the neighborhood of $1,000 per rack these days, if you can find somebody selling.

Shaped textured inlay
Great edge spots
Vegas traditional colors

However ultimately sold my set bc they weren’t a vegas set

when did the original sale happen? I want to say I got mine in 2013-2014 ish

I might be willing to let mine go, I am going to dig out my sets and probably only keep one between those and the HSI set

$5 and up pays a premium, the RHC $1 are about $200 a rack and fracs 400-600/rack
If you have any $500's....
