Poker Chip Boxes (3 Viewers)

I have not been super active here lately as most of my projects the last month or two have not been poker related. I did, however, just finish up this sweet little 400 chip (300 39mm Paulson's and 100 43mm) box for a member here. Goal was was sleek and minimalist, with a very dark finish. Its not super obvious with the dark finish, but the box is made from one white oak board with wrapping grain all the way around and no exposed hardware.

Enjoy!

Would you be able to do something similar for 800 chips? 700 x 39mm and 100 x 43mm.

If you can imagine it, most likely he can build it. Where are you located in Texas? Sure you don't want the "big boy" like I have in my avatar? :D

That big one is nice too! At some point, I would like to have a cabinet of some sort for all my chips but right now just looking for some individual cases for a custom set. I’m north of you in Plano...just outside Dallas.

Been awhile since I've updated this thread, but built several really nice boxes in the last couple months.

This one is 800 Chips (10x80 layout) in rustic walnut with continuous grain wrapped around the box and mitered edges. Satin chrome Soss hinges and magnetic catches with no exposed hardware. Also, so sweet custom engraving to match the chips logo.

Next up are 3 walnut boxes that a currently on their way overseas. These are also in walnut and 800 chip capacity, but in 2 different form factors. 1 in the 10x80 layout as above, and the other 2 in 8x100. The rectangular one even incorporates some brass splines in the corners, which is something I've wanted to do for a while now. I personally love the walnut and brass combo.

There is one more box I've got in progress that should be done here in just a couple days.

These are great! Absolutely beautiful!

Can you encourage your customers to come back here and post photos with them loaded up with chips once they receive them?

Just shipped out a very cool 1000ct box with removable 100 chip racks in a little bit different layout. The footprint on this guy is huge (~26x13in) but will make fore a great storage solution if you don't need to move the whole set around much. Box is walnut with miters and grain wrap around all 4 corners. Black Soss hinges and a keyed lock. Bookmatched figured walnut top. Made a little catchall box for cards/cash/dealer buttons/etc to take up the extra space and have all 10 racks fit snugly.

@alecnetwoodworks Did you see the post a few days ago where I tagged you on a display box with a glass top that someone bought from Abiatti? That's an Italian chip manufacturer. If not, I'll go look for it and link to it here.

This is awesome. How much is this?

Wow, I really drool over this work. These are absolutely amazing. I will be seriously contemplating one of these puppies.

These are incredible, I can resist THC but I don't think I can resist these! Watching with interest.
