Funny I found this thread this morning after enjoying tequila last night.

I love Casamigos. Typically drink the reposado, on the rocks. I can't take any pictures because I always leave the bottle wherever I went with it. (for later return trips). For some reason it evaporates super fast when I keep it in my liquor cabinet.

I have not been a big straight tequila drinker until my buddy introduced me to Michael Jordons Tequila “CINCORO”. It is fantastic sipped with no chases. Guaranteed crowd pleaser even to tequila snobs

Super snobby on margaritas, unfortunately. I’ve zeroed in in this mix:

1 1/2 oz. tequila (100% agave, reposado)
1 1/2 oz. Cointreau
1 oz. lime juice

I usually double the recipe.

I’ve tried a few tequilas and am still looking for a good margarita base with a reasonable taste/cost ratio. They have the Espolon where I shop- I will have to try that (thanks @Richard Cranium) and check out the tequila rating site @Lemonzest mentioned.

Like @Saoliver, I picked this up. It was on a whim- the Rock’s personal tequila brand. Apparently everyone wants to be like Clooney!

If you are starting to discover sipping tequilas, do a little research on the hidden use of additives in tequilas. Many celebrity brand tequilas are additive bombs.
Cincoro is one of them.

Have to be honest, it's a pretty glass, but the hype doesn't really justify the price. My glencairn glass from Amazon does the same job for a lot less. Not really a China Clay vs Paulson experience.

The Del Maguey Minero made in a clay pot still is another story...that's sublime.

maybe. I googled ounces in a Glencairn glass and it’s 5.9. So maybe 12 in the Agave ?
