Found a couple old El Tesoro bottles yesterday. Picked up a reposado and an anejo. The lot numbers date them to 2007 for the repo and 2006 ish for the anejo. I'm excited to try them up against my current versions of the same bottles.

I guess the big tequila scandal of late is that Don Julio and Cas amigos tequila ( owned by the same parent company )
May not be 100% Agave and have been adding other alcohol to the bottles.

Will post links soon

I know the best tequila is additive free.

But what a contrast between bottlles.
Even the actual glass is different

All Fortaleza Anejo.

Don't mind the non tequila products I picked up today. I am excited that I finally was able to find a bottle of Fortaleza reposado in the wild. Actually two of them. I had my first sip in Vegas about 6 years ago and now I am able to have a bottle on my bar at home!

Ive always wanted to try Tears of Llorona but just haven't pulled the trigger on a bottle. I see it for 300 to 350 around here which seems a bit high. I hear that it sells for much cheaper in some places.

248 at total wine near me.

It’s very good. But the crystalano reposado fo $45 is fantastic
