I think we all, as a group, should consider an alternate nomenclature for China Clay. The term itself causes confusion, especially amongst new chippers, because it implies some sort of similarity in process, material, or cost compared to compression clay (which there isn't). We can't simply just call them "plastics" because the term too general. How about:
Budget / Low-end Injection Molded Plastic (BLIMP) to cover the sluggers that we all know and love
Composite / Higher-end Injection Molded Plastic (CHIMP) to cover our various CC level of quality/price
Premium Injection Molded Plastic (PIMP) for the Abbiati, B&G, Bud Jones, and Matsui brands
