Looking at this and knowing a bit about carbon fiber, I think this is not worth the while. Would it be an upgrade over plastic? Probably. Is it anywhere near as cost effective as the plastic cards we all use? Absolutely not. This is a perfect example of upgrading for the sake of upgrading. Huge cost increase for very very little actual benefit, if any at all. It is a good idea on paper, but will be too expensive for what it offers when compared to a good quality PVC or Acetate. Even if the carbon fiber lasts indefinitely, the card printing will not, and at that price point it loses the battle to Fournier and cards from @desjgn.

If they can cut through a banana, they can easily cut into your thumb when you check your cards.
