Negreanu's Roid Rage (7 Viewers)

I love the fact that we're gonna see a match, at least we get something actually fun out of this.

The way Doug is going about it is by far the most douchebaggy way he possibly can tho:

Mr. "DNegsHasSoldOut" sells out and for the low low price of 1000 retweets, he will come back to poker after a mindboggling absence of 2 years (playing) and 4 months (contentmaking)
Immediately claiming Daniel would back down, and then claiming he has no chance to win. Remember this when a couple of tweets down he claims he hasn't played/studied in years.

In one tweet he both:

1. claims Daniel would pick a format that is entirely geared to his skillset, which would hive him an advantage.
2. picks a format that is entirely geared to his skillset, giving him an advantage.

Daniel calling him out on that BS is fair game imo.

Baseless claim of Daniel backing down again. At this point Daniel has already shown interest in doing this, so bit weird that he keeps playing this specific drum.

At least the two manchildren can get to what vaguely looks like a compromise.

The BS from Doug about not playing/studying for years is just that. He needs the poker crowd to keep his revenue going, he managed to stay out of poker content for.... (checks his YT channel) barely 4 months.

Joey then throws in a decent suggestion and a jab at Daniel's comment. It's a funny jab, but we do want a fair match, not one geared towards either player.

Negotiating so far has looked like bullying Daniel on any point of feedback he gives on the format, but ok, not unreasonable to discuss structure/buy-in together.
This is a great moment to raise money for charity, it might even fool people into thinking you're not doing this for personal gain.
Doug then proceeds to call out Daniel again for not agreeing to a set of rules he himself has set to be in his advantage.

To summarize: while Daniel the Manchild talks big, Doug the Manchild actually gets the most say in what/how they're gonna do this.

To conclude: they're both Manchildren, and I'll enjoy watching them go heads up for the entertainment.

Well, there it is.
A slow-roller.
The epitome of poker evil.

Shall I fetch pitchforks? @upNdown can you make sure everyone has a commemorative torch?
Your fervor against people that are against Deeb, DNegs, etc is not much different than that of the people that are against Deeb, Dnegs, etc. You all could a all stand to just...
Well... I'll let her say it...

I’m not against people, I’m just arguing against crucifying people or wild assumptions. Innocent until proven guilty.

Unless it's against Polk, then you're okay with it, LOL!!!!

Nobody's perfect :p

I tried to keep my comments on Polk as supported by evidence as possible. There's a difference between thinking someone's an a-hole because of his actions and claiming someone's a golddigger based on her body language...

If I were Polk, I'd agree to any live game terms that Dnegs wants, so long as there is always frying bacon in the background. Win-win.

You sure you're not Belgian? This looks like a Belgian Compromis: a situation negotiated to the point where all parties involved are equally miserable :p

Joe is the best. He’s on to something about grudge matches. We need more of them. Helmuth and Tony G, next?

I agree, "More rake grudge match is better."

But fuck this idea of online heads up bullshit. It needs to be in person ( you can social distance a heads up match safely ). Otherwise way too much opportunity to "get help/cheat". Consider having people, behind the streaming camera, capturing every hand, crunching poker charts, and basically aiding the players in making calls. I put no faith in either of them not to do exactly that. At the table, in person, no help, reading body language, etc is how I think it needs to be.

Totally agree on that! The people want to see talking and emotion back in poker.

Agreed. I'm so done with people hiding behind 7 layers of clothing, 3 caps, a hat, 2 pairs of sunglasses, 3 bandana's and a monocle while maintaining a comatose facade for an entire tournament.

Give us more people who dare to talk and dare to make a show out of it :)

Ingram's enthusiasm is fun, but his head is so far up Polk's ass that he's got not business acting like a promotor when he's really just a cheerleader.

Sure, they are buddies, but he did criticize Polk as well for all of this in one of the earlier videos.
