Hey all ! I’ve been a member here since almost the beginning and prior to that was a member of the old blue board under the same user name. Through it all Ive watched bought sold and traded with many of you. I currently own a custom non denom Chipco set that is now 15 years old and you’ve recently seen a portion of my custom ASM set that is fourteen years young. I used to run a league of forty players that met each month for 8 months starting in August and ran through the winter. Over the next few weeks I’ll add more to this story but as most of you know 19 months ago I suffered a near fatal stroke. So it’s been twenty months since my last league meeting. I’ve built tables, bought some of the first setup tubes from Palm Gaming, had custom oak caddies made for them later engraved with my logo, have ceramic large chip coasters of each of my Chipco chip colors, made custom seating cards each with a well known poker quote on it for four table tournaments, given trophies, and yes even used a hot dog roller about ten years ago until it burned out. I will continually update you with sets I used to own, and there have been many. For now I’ll leave you with a photo I just took after being able to go downstairs to my poker room for the first time since the stroke. This is a photo of my side tournament single table pie set. Back in the day when I spent way more on chips than I should have I used to jump on every shiny new thing Jim B. offered us at CT. when half pie chips came out followed by quarter pie offerings six months later I couldn’t resist getting this small set for those who exited my main event early to have a small tourney on the side. So now I’m happy to present in what I believe to be their first forum appearance ever—. the BPT(Basement Poker Tour) pie set. Enjoy. Chip on!

The 1/4 & 1/2 pie chips are great. That black & yellow bumblebee is fantastic.

Really glad to hear things are getting better. Bet seeing the basement was a sight for sore eyes. Here's to continued progress with your recovery moving foreward. Hang tough! :cool

These are great. Glad to hear you are recovering and sorry to hear about the ordeal you went through.

I’m in the minority that didn’t know, sorry to hear that. All my good wishes coming your way internet stranger who I share a love of poker chips with. :) I’m glad to hear you are on the road back, that’s scary as hell, and I look forward to this thread.

Glad you got back down in that basement sir! Hopefully you’ll soon be playing again.
Beautiful chips btw!

Strokes are no joke - glad to hear you are recovering well.

Nice CPC's - I can't wait to join the ranks of CPC custom owners out there.

Now, why can't they do 1/16th pies...?
