Some people don't like them because they're not "official casino weight." I happen to like the look and feel. What's the issue with the H mold? I've read before that a lot of people don't like it.

Assuming they're lighter weight? Some people don't like them because they're not "official casino weight." I happen to like the look and feel.
Most CPC chips are between 8 and 8.5 grams. Some people claim the H mold feels closer to the 8, but I can't really tell a difference.Assuming they're lighter weight?
@Saoliver I never noticed your signature before! Such a great movie and a great scene but you missed the best part! "and I need this dog..'Grrrr', OK maybe I don't need the dog"
Are those 5 cent poker chips customs or is that a standard denomination for some manufacturers? I am new and trying to learn as much as I can
This may be the route that I go when building a Cali cash set on the THC mold. The Key west nickel and quarter are stock but that beautiful Aurora Star set in post #35 are all relabeled except for the $1's.
My 5¢ brown chips were Aurora Star $2 chips. Murdered and added @Gear labels. The red chips were Aurora Star $5, and the yellow were Aurora Star $20.Are those 5 cent poker chips customs or is that a standard denomination for some manufacturers? I am new and trying to learn as much as I can
Full replacement with Gear labels. I bought the 25¢ and $5 already done. I did the 5¢ myself. This may be the route that I go when building a Cali cash set on the THC mold.
@Saoliver did an awesome job on those. I just don't know if he labeled over with unlaminated labels over the inlay or if he did full inlay replacement.

For the record the left stack is our playable set in paulson racks, without the dimes. Finally took the opportunity to get all the FOC chips out and take a family photo!

Planning to get these guys in play tomorrow, and yes we are using The GCR $20 50mm instead of the $25 chips to make it a bit more fun!!
Hi mate what case is that you’re using to store your chips please? Not overly expensive ($1- $1.50 per chip, but a pain in the butt to find!

Absolutely love these chips and they make dimes as well! I own about 400 of them but no need with plenty of nickles in play! The Fan of Cards quatters and one dollar chips are by far the toughest to find! I know the recent scrub donkey chips had nickles and quarters but I doubt anyone would sell... yet!
With the costs of fracs I would definitely say semi custom ceramics would be the way to go! Best if Luck with the serch and welcome back to chipping!!

Looks like an Apache case to meHi mate what case is that you’re using to store your chips please?
I’m in the uk so probably won’t be able to get the same one but if I can get the model number I’ll be able to use the dimensions to find something very similarLooks like an Apache case to me
Well... this one just about has a fork in it.... just about finished up now! Thank you soo much @Chipandchair for helping me out immensely on these!
Love the colors! The full label replacement on THC mold is a great way to go.
You can find great THC solids in fantastic colors for a very reasonable price if you look hard enough.
Look at what @sheikh617 did with milled THC solids (used his picture here without permission)
This set is absolute fire!!!
