I’ve used many cards. I’m partial to copags. BUT the CG cards are boss. It’s very hard to go against what I call “The Standard”. However, I can’t be bound by brand. CG are bangers.

1st - Chips & Games:
Nice top side texture, smoother bottom for ice hockey pitch, best colors on the face, overall best firmness/shuffle experience

So when you say “best firmness/shuffle experience” is it safe to assume that they’re on the stiffer side (not particularly flexy?)

They have a “just right” feel. I know that’s my own gauge, but it’s the best way I can’t explain it.

They flex enough to peek, slap down enough to reset flat, and not too stiff to shuffle with ease.

I have old Modiano branded version of these. Quite like them.

I have a set up of the C&G and for the money they seem alright.

Bullets:

Middle of the field. Was hoping for a better card, but they just didn’t do it for me. The colors are meh, the cards retain a tiny fold after a peek, and overall just don’t compete well against the others.

These X cards do have one flaw, the printing seems to have transferred by storage or something. Only on a few of the cards.

Other than that, they feel fantastic, NO BULLSHIT

Didn't mean it to come off as aggressive, but I'd just be very surprised if Angel cards were available on Amazon as they're the parent company of GPI and only sell to casinos.

These look interesting! How is the texture of the card backs and faces? The faces look pretty smooth like King cards.

Ok, so….

After many many shuffles, multiple hours of debating and touching….

Evaluation against the Mondiano, Desjgn (old&new), KEM, Fournier, Copag….

The final two I will be putting in rotation are these.

Chips & Games: Think Mondiano
It’s just a solid all around card. Textured top, slick face, great art, solid thickness - but not too much, etc. It makes me happy over and over every time I touch them.

LotFancy: Think KEM
These surprised us all, after many shuffles and touching, they literally go head to head with KEM, and have a supple feel to them. The colors are deep and beautiful, the bend and snap back are great, and the only thing I wish they had were Jumbo instead of standard. If I can find them in Jumbo, I’m buying a case.

Both decks were $12-$13 delivered, and frankly are just as good as Mondiano, KEM, Desjgn, Fournier. I touched them all, and they just are.

The final two winners, equally great!

Honorable Mention!
Xiangyue…. Loved this card, but it suffers from a print QC issue, only on the black deck. The face of some cards had smudging, and I just couldn’t ignore it…. The card was great though!

Glad I only got a single setup. There are noticeable flaws. I also feel like even after a single game or two, the edges might get discoloured like the Joker already is…
