The Blues Brothers
I recently watched this online and was shocked to see scenes I don't think I'd ever seen before. There's a directors cut that had a bunch of stuff that wasn't on my VHS. Weird experience, because I've seen that movie 50+ times.

Bruce Lee movies

My second daughter and I watched a bunch of these when she was about 10. She wandered into the room when I was watching Enter the Dragon. She was fascinated by it.

It was so unexpectedly cool and fun!

I’ve got to check it out. Seen the movie over 100 times.

Mrs. Toronto?

John Carpenter's The Thing. Amazing movie, great actors, shots, soundtrack, everything.

I was twice deployed to an Antarctic research base and we always watch the movie at the start of the season. One of the people on base offered professional headshots for resumes; 25 year old Frank did not take it as seriously as others. I'm not as attractive as Kurt Russel, I know.

Like so many it is impossible for me to pick a favorite movie. No Country For Old Men is certainly high on the list for now. Once Upon A Time in Hollywood is also high right now.

Can't pick one, so I'll give you all my top 3.

  1. Wolf of Wall Street
  2. Good Fellas
  3. Dune (Part One)
  4. Interstellar

I watched HEAT for the first time a couple of weeks ago off a 20mg seltzer. Certainly up there now.

I’m doing a dive on a bunch of 90’s movies I haven’t seen. State of Grace was another really good one with a young Sean Penn and Gary Oldman that I enjoyed very much.

anyone knows "Spanish prisoner" by David Mamet??? Fantastic movie. If you looking for a movie that keeps you on your toes from start to the end its a safe bet.
Most movies are quite predictable, but not this one.

A lot of my favorites already listed, but I'll add one super obscure one: Thick As Thieves. Amazing cast, fantastic writing, gangster heist caper. I believe it went straight to HBO, but it's a guilty pleasure.

Oooh, yes! And that brings to mind "Being John Malkovich". I'm always trying to get off elevators at the 7-1/2th floor.

Hard movie to beat if you're from Jersey... :cool

Unless it's "Dogma". Hard to beat a movie with Alanis Morrisette as God...
Dogma…sooooo good.

Impossible choice...

But, if I know it's the end, probably something reflective and/or with a happy ending.

- The Truman Show
- The Princess Bride
- The Shawshank Redemption
- It's a Wonderful Life

Strangely though, the first movie that popped into my head was "Back to the Future"
Anybody want a peanut?
