Hey all, I'm new here, and I think this is the right place to post this. I want to design an X-Men themed poker set, and I came up with some AI designed images that I like, but I'm not sure how I would go about actually making it happen. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have attached the images of the Mock-Ups I made.

Are there any designers on here that could make images like a png or svg? If so can you please DM me? Thanks.

I think having Professor Xavier (the one originating the X) somewhere in the set is more-or-less required?

And Deadpool has never really been a member...

The location beneath Storm would likely need to be Cairo. Canada for Wolverine, Salem NY for Prof X, NOLA for Gambit, and as I was also born in the same state (represent!)...Mississippi for Rogue.

Thank you, player.

Love the idea. Some of my thoughts:

I would have to include Cyclops. Blue, red and yellow colors

I think rogue has to have yellow in it

Gambit has to have purple

Wolverine edge spots absolutely have to be bear claw

I would include Beast, just my personal preference.

Ditch Deadpool, feels out of place. If you keep him, his font is the only one that's not white, either make them all different, or all the same color.

Speaking of fonts, it'd be cool if you could mimic the different fonts for each name that appeared in the intro for the animated series (see attached)

Lastly, this will be a very yellow-centric set just by nature. Be careful to avoid dirty stack issues.

Cant wait to see how this develops!

Yeah, Prof X, Cyclops, Jean, IceMan, Angel and Beast are the OG's.

But the "new" X-Men are when they got cool. Nightcrawler, Banshee, Wolverine, Colossus, and Storm.

I like the concept, and I agree with a lot of the feedback so far. Lose Deadpool, add Xavier, and I’d find a way to include Magneto somehow, though that might be tough with Gambit in the lineup seeing as how their colors are so similar.

Were it me, I’d make a unifying name for the set that could feature all the characters instead of naming each chip as its character. For example, the whole set is called “The Danger Room” or “The X Mansion” and each denom has the colors and spot progression appropriate to a character. You could still keep an image of the character, but use the name of the set instead of the name of the character on the chip.

Either that, or a reimagining of the characters without any text other than the denom, à la Super Poker World.

And Sentinel bounty chips are a must.

Just my two cents.

Thank you for all the advice everyone it's much appreciated. I will take all of those into consideration!

Hey everyone, unfortunately I was unable to take most advice, because I had already had them designed and printed, but this is the final product and I think they look really cool. Wanted to share with you all!

As long as you're happy, that's what matters. But you came here asking for design advice, then immediately ordered the set before talking with people? It looks like you ask on a Saturday and have them fully ordered on a Sunday. Quick turnaround. Next time, just take some time with the designs and kick them around a while.

The images you shared are too compressed to see clearly and zooming in makes it worse. Hopefully you'll show close up pics so we can properly roast your choices :wtf:

Also, @harrysallout never should have pointed out Wolverine's claws were shooting out of his shoulders

I do appreciate all the comments, and yes, I did rush it a bit. It was hard to find a designer who was willing to do my designs for a reasonable price, which is probably why you guys see that the images aren't exactly perfect. However, I am happy with how they came out. The company that printed them and produced them did a great job.

Side Note: in the future when I order more chips, which I deff will do, I would still appreciate the feedback and hopefully I can implement it better. I'd like to have a good relationship with all of my fellow poker players.

Thanks!

to add to that, I don't mind be called out in my mistakes. No one is perfect. I appreciate all the advice and the constructive critiscm as well. I look forward to making more cool designs in the future with different concepts. I'm a big friends fan, so maybe later on this year I could do something around that. Who knows, but again, much appreciated.

If you do an AI Friends mock-up and Jennifer Aniston's nipples come out her shoulders, could you not fix that please

I was with you until you said you liked Friends, I straight up hate that show. But I hope you have fun damnit! Love the X-Men.
